I won't blatantly give out full plots or anything. Just small ideas that anyone can work from because I don't trust that a whole idea won't be stolen...so for my own sanity, it will be only small ideas.

i. revenge plots are so chaotic and absolutely amazing. it doesn't have to follow the show even. you could make it an au in whatever season you choose. it will be amusing if the character has one goal set, revenge and revenge only.
ii. not really an idea but I noticed that vampire hunters oc's are so underrated like...writing them is incredible because it HAS to be slowburn since your character is obviously against vampires and by the time we are introduced to vampire hunters in season 4 everyone is a vampire ( not looking at you matt ).
iii. oc x oc plots. it could be a vengeful vampire who was mainly in mystic falls to get rid of stefan or damon but somehow and in the midst of all the drama falls for oc cute sassy girl/boy. it's an underrated cliche, admit it!
iv. a stefan doppelganger story, somewhere around katherine's time there was supposed to be a doppelganger for stefan, we never saw that, did we? instead of all the petrova doppelgangers various stories, try to make one where your oc falls for stefan's doppelganger while not being a doppelganger herself. it would be even more amusing if she knew stefan or if it was an au. it could work in so many ways tbh.
v. au plots where your oc depends on the love interest for help or something like they are their salvation of whatever, they are short and really cute. effortless and amazing. it doesn't have to be outstretched through 120 chapters for people to love it.
vi. again not exactly a plot but if you are writing a damon fic don't think of delena as your inspiration because it was toxic, if you really like damon that much, write it better and try to give him a redemption arc because it would have been so easy to do so on the show but I guess they liked him as the pervert he is, meh.
vii. PLOTS WITH MALE OCS AS THE MAIN CHARACTER. He could ace the role of the bitch who knows the Mikaelsons and comes to Mystic Falls to help the Salvatores get rid of Katherine, plot twist he falls in love with Elena.
