The Daughter of Emiya at Chaldea

Chapter 5

Rei POV

After my unexpected meeting with Mordred, we decided to go together to the cafeteria to get breakfast.
Talking to Mordred is actually quite nice. It made me learn more about her. She isn't like how legends depicts her, aside from hating a  conversation about her gender, true she may be prideful and haughty...and brutal...and also bit reckless....who am I kidding shes quite reckless...she's a hundred percent bonafide battle junky...but if you set that aside you can see she is actually a confident and kind albeit easily misunderstood person.

I guess she is lonely due to her identity as as homunculus and the child of Morgan Le Fay not to mention the fact that she is the reason for ending the legend of Arthur or Arturia in this case, but i can see from how she acts and how she talks about saber that she just wants attention and approval from her father whom she admires the most. In other words she's an adorable puppy begging for it's owners praise! ( A/N: I really like addressing mordred as a puppy)

On our way there we met up with the other Knights of the Round Table. Mordred enthusiastically introduced me to the other knights who could only look on surprised at seeing the knight of treachery being close to someone. Gawain was the first to start a conversation.

"It's finally nice to meet you in person Hime( A/N: princess if you don't know)" He said politely

"Hime?" I was confused by the title

"Since technically you are queen Shirou's daughter and by the looks of it Mordred clearly approve of you as her younger sibling even if you aren't related by blood-"

"Damn right I do!" Mordred said cutting the knight of the sun, he only cough in response, already expecting to be interrupted and just calmly continue his sentence.

"It would only be right to address you as such"

"Uhh you guys could just normally call me Rei you know" I feel a sweat drop forming from how overly polite the other knights were.

"Nonsense! Its disrespectful addressing the daughter of our queen in an informal fashion!" Said Lancelot, the famous knight of the lake, showing disapproval of how casual the name is

"Ehh but what about Mordred? Isn't she also royalty so she should also be addressed as princess" pointing at the knight who was clearly amused at the situation I'm stuck in

"I'm not a princess! I'm a knight! I bathe in the blood of my enemies not wear a dress and act girly"

"Then by your words I'm not a princess as well"

"Yeah but you're younger than me so deal with it" She said showing a toothy grin.

"Now you're just abusing your authority!"

Me and Mordred argued back and forth ignoring the other knights who could only look on in silence. This scene was saw by saber and her counterparts as well as Shirou who was walking together towards the cafeteria.

"What is going on here?" ask saber arturia towards the knights

"My king!"

"Father, Mother! It's good to see you" Said mordred looking like a puppy who saw its owner, I swear I could see an imaginary tail wagging behind her

"Dad!" I greet the red head who also greet me back

"Now can someone explain why Mordred and Rei were arguing in the hallways" addressing towards the knights. Gawain explained what happened with Lancelot and Bedivere commenting on the side. Tristan and Gareth stayed silent.
"As she is Shirou's daughter, she is considered as my daughter as well even without having blood relation"

"Then does that mean we should have your permission to address her as royalty as well?"

"Wait! what?!" I exclaimed

Silence occurred for a few seconds until arturia said her answer

"I guess?"
Then the other arturia said their answer
"I agree" Saber alter said

"Me too" Lancer Arturia

"Same as my counter part" Came after Lancer Arturia Alter

"Ohh I have another daughter now!" Happily said saber lily

"I'm fine with it" Ruler Arturia said

"I wouldn't mind" Archer Arturia said

"Me Neither" Rider Arturia Alter said

"Same" Santa Alter Arturia

"I'm not of royal blood, but I agree with Rei being my daughter!" Said Mysterious Heroine X

"Me too" Mysterious Heroine X Alter

"I agree with that" Mysterious Heroine XX
(A/N: I only did this to count how many counterparts there is and damn that is a lot...)

"Wait! What about my opinion?!" I shouted

"Then it is agree that from now on you shall address Rei as Hime and treat her as part of the my family" Saber said ignoring my statement

"So you're just gonna ignore me now?" Pointing to myself who is still continue being ignored by the others

"We greet Rei-Hime!" Said Gawain

"We greet Rei-Hime!" followed by Lancelot, Bedivere, Tristan, and Gareth. While Mordred was laughing so hard that tears started forming in her eyes

Dad walk to me and just silently pat me on the shoulder trying to reassure me, while I just stare in space with blank expression trying to ignore the the shouting and laughing at the background.

A few minutes ago I was laughing about my dad being called as queen and now I'm being called as hime...karma is really a bitch. I swear I could just see Gramps Zelretch laughing at this.
