Some of us see it coming, some of us don't. Some of us choose how, who and when it happens, and some of us barely experience love before it's taken away.
She is smiling and waving to her crowd of fans waiting outside the venue for her 4th big movie premier. She is absolutely an incredible actress, she has the fame, talent, beautiful face, the woman of every guy's dream but when it comes to the person she loves in her life, its just not the same. Maybe she's not his dream girl after all. She sighs a little, still having her lips curl up a smile. She cannot be sad, no, she just cannot cry especially for a guy who shatters her heart in pieces. She blames the love.
Everything was fine between her relationship with long time boyfriend Park Chanyeol, till he has to leave her for his family sake. Saying that she is no good enough for him, she is just an actress with no bright future. Chanyeol is an architect and a composer, where his songs mostly about her, only her. There's no one else besides her. He loves her so much till he really has to leave her. What is love really? "Oppa, can you promise me something?" She turns to her left, facing her boyfriend who is resting his head below his hand after a date out with his girl. "What is it love?" Chanyeol hums in his voice. "Can you promise to love and be with me for the rest of your life?" She asks to test him. He stays silent and as she curious with his answer.
Chanyeol has decided to tell her the truth about his parents, to tell that they can't be together anymore, for each other's happiness. What is meant by happiness when it all begins with disappearance of someone you love? "Babe, I can't promise you that." He says the words he practiced. She stares at him, blankly with no expression. "I know, just leave." She replies gently like what she has expected, the answer is just ripping her heart off. She tries her hardest, sucking up her tears that almost drown in the sea of emotion. She knows it all along. She accidentally read Chanyeol's message. "You better break up with her before I no longer call you as my son." Sent by his own mother.
Chanyeol's the one who froze in disbelief, this is not what he wanted. He wanted her to insist him "No, we have to be together!" but he got a different response in return. He wanted her to tell him that they are going to be as one for the rest of their life like he imagined before. He wanted her to tell him that its okay, we'll make it through everything, together. "What do you mean by me leaving?" He murmurs, saddens in his voice. "We are only meant to be together for a little while, and not for forever. You know that too don't you? Its okay, Chanyeol. I understand." In hesitation she assures him that she's okay, even without giving him time to explain. "I-i don't know what to say...." He shrugs, taking a moment to breath.
"Anyone can walk away so easily from somebody else. Nobody is forced to stay as we all have choices. If your choice is leaving me, just leave. Don't look back, don't look back at me. Just move on, fall in love with someone new and make your parents happy." The last thing she says to him, and she never sees his face again, not even once. He left her, planting wet kisses on her face as their tears mixed together in damage of two hearts.
