Kai was laying on his bed, ignoring the calls and the texts he had been receiving these few days. He tried not to cry but he failed. He never felt this regret. One moment he thought about ending his life but he realized it was the most stupid decision ever for someone to do. In fact, he still have you, eventhough you were too far away. His brain was having a battle. A battle between remembering and forgetting. Some parts of his mind want to think of you, the other parts want him to just forget everything. "Beep beep" his text tone came out.
"Kai, where are you? We're so worried about you." D.O texted him.
He ignored the text again. He didnt feel like replying. He didnt want to meet anyone, he wanted to lock himself at the room all the time.
The next morning Kai came to the practice room with the fake smile plastered on his face. There was no used for showing that he was sad since no one entirely ever cared about him except you. You were always there for him once, but now not anymore. For you, he became the only place for you to let out your problems and emotions. You trusted him because being around him makes everything clear. But somehow, he screwed everything up.
"Kai, I know that you're sad and despair but dont you think it would better if you tell me your problem? You used not to be like this Kai-ah. I want to help you" Kai became sadder when Chanyeol said that. Kai buried his face and cried onto his shoulder. He didnt mind to be looking as weak for crying. "Please dont be like this, you make me sad too you know. Now just tell me your problem. Let it all out" Chanyeol rubbed his back. Kai wiped away his tears and started your story. "Well it was like this..."
-flashback 4 yrs ago-
"Y/n, I just created new dance moves!! Do you want to see it?" Kai asked you at the tree house you guys used to play. "I want I want I want!" You said happily. Kai did his part. "Oh wow it was really amazing Kai! Your moves are so good. You should keep it up" you complimented him. "Ahh gomawo y/n, you helped me alot in fact you were my inspiration of creating this dance" Kai explained. "Wah you're so cute when you blushed like that you know, I dont know what I would do without you by my side y/n" Kai caressed your red tomato cheek.
"Hey, can you come over and help me with my practice?" Kai said to you through phone calls. "Ya sure" your voice stuttered, you wanted to say no because you have tons of assignment to be done but Kai matters to you most. "So what do you think? It is okay?" Kai asked after finished dancing. He decided to go for audition at SM Entertainment. "It was great as usual! You didnt have to try hard because you already have the talent Kkamjong" it was his favorite nickname. "Ah I felt relieved, so now I want to ask you something y/n-ah" you were nervous as you thought maybe Kai would ask you out for a date or something. You always have feelings for him, its just you never had a chance to tell him. "Hm can you accompany me to the audition?" Kai as usual managed to disappoint you. "Of course I can Kai, you're my best friend" your replied in lower voice.
"Oh my god Kai, there were so many people around here" you said with your mouth wide open, you were obviously shocked to see there were many people who came for audition. It would take few hours until Kai got called to dance and sing. 1 hour, 2 hour, 3 hour, 4 hour. "Kim JongIn! You can come in now" Kai name got called after four hours of waiting. "Its your time now Kai, do your best okay, hwaiting!" You cheered for him. "Thank you y/n, please wait for me okay." Kai took longer time in the audition room and then your eyes start to feel sleepy, you fell asleep at the SM lobby. You were awake at 11pm and saw you were the only person in the lobby room. "Oh shit where is everyone? Where is Kai for god's sake?" You quickly get up from your seat and searched for him.
