"I really like you." I think this was the best dream and sleep that I have had whilst I have been suffered with imsomnia. When I woke up the sun was shining brightly, the puddles on the road had the reflected sunlight glistening in them, I can see clearly from my window pane. It was a really beautiful morning and I suddenly felt glad that I was in my warm bed. A sudden recall from the dream I had just now, I met this one particular guy, I was just so happy being with him especially when he muttered the words I love you. Who is he anyway? I'm dying to see him in real life but, dream is meant to deceive. I don't think that guy actually existed.
Well whatever, it is Monday and the freaking school starts in few hours. I never hated school even more when I think about every fucked up person in my school. They really know how to get into my nerves. I flung my towel across my shoulder and run to the shower. Getting dressed in my uniform with high ponytail and just little bb cream I applied on my face, I went down to see my mum preparing for breakfast. "Morning sweety, did you sleep well?" How did she knows tho, well I forgot, mum instinct. "Yeah kinda, I had a good night sleep." I replied before sneakily munch the toasted bread on the table. "Glad to hear that, um can you help me with something?" Mum asked while walking towards me. "Sure, what is it mum?" I quickly offered to help. "Can you wait for the newspaper boy outside?" She said to me with her beautiful grin. "But why? Can he just tossed it on the gate?" I asked out of curiosity.
"Well, nothing I just want you to give him some money for the newspaper boy, he seems to be working hard these days, and hand this lunch box to him as well." I didn't quite believe her anyway but I nodded helplessly. "Why do I even need to wait for a guy without valid reason? Its even cold outside!" I said blinking back with shivers on my body. I keep looking on my hello kitty watch, I have waited for him for the past 10 minutes till he finally arrived with his scooter. I never meet him before, this is the first time and I can feel the slight urge to know more at least a little about him, since mum never really care about a boy so much, he must be so special.
"Hey," I saw fingers snapped right before my eyes, making me flinched with his sudden reaction. "What the-" I can't finished uttering my words when I see him face to face. He is, um not bad tho. Small figure, big eyes and love-shaped lips. "S-sorry," he said. "Nah, here's your newspaper." He handed me with a freshly smell pile of papers with a smile across his face. "You must be Mrs Jung's daughter right?" He asked, more like stating a statement. "How much do you know about my mum?" I get my eyebrows crossed. "Wow, are you jealous?? I don't like noonas or ahjummas anyway. Mrs Jung always prepared me lunch box, she's a nice person and that's the only thing I know. Anyway is that for me?" He exclaimed while pointing on a blue box on my left hand. "Yeah, anyway, this is your money, take it or its your loss. Have a good day!" I said before walking in. "What's so special about him??" I really want to ask mum about that but no, too early and I'm not interested.
"Mum, since when you started giving him lunch boxes? You didn't even prepared me one!" I said in disappointment, "I am your daughter anyway!" I continued, having my arms crossed my chest, I look away from her. "Since he work as the newspaper boy, he seems to be a nice guy. Speaking about preparing you a lunch box, you can't even finished the kimchi fried rice I prepared yesterday!" She gave a comeback to the words I said. "Ah um- about that, I'm already stuffed with other food, sorry mum won't do that again. Please prepare me a lunch box too~~" I give her my puppy like eyes, she can't say no to this. "Fine" she glared me with her motherly smile.
