JACKSON AVERY
- you were a year younger than jackson
- as brother and sister you guys were always close
- but there was always a competitive nature growing up as you were both into surgery
- and of course your mom was too
- although you were a year younger than jackson, you were ahead of your med school class and became in the same class as jackson
- you guys started your intern year together at mercy west hospital
- then got merged with seattle grace hospital when you were residents
- then the hospital changed to seattle grace-mercy west
- and to say the least it was crazy
- you already felt out of place
- the mercy westers had to wear orange scrubs while the residents from seattle grace wore light blue
- which definitely made you feel separated from everybody
- "jackson are you not nervous? what if they don't like me?" "who the hell cares y/n, we're here to do surgery not make buddies with everyone."
- your brother was taking the merger really well
- while you however were a nervous wreck
- when you started getting used to the hospital you became friends with lexie
- then you guys started hanging out alot more
- you, jackson, april, lexie, and alex all lived in meredith's house
- and you and lexie would have sleepovers talking about boys like you guys were 12
- "oh what about alex? he's kinda cute...in a mean kind of way." you would tell lexie

- you did think alex was kind of cute
