MEREDITH GREY AND DEREK SHEPHERD
- you would be at the hospital with your parents
- and you were scrolling through your phone waiting for your classmate to text you
- your classmate was supposed to come over to your house for a school project
- "hi sweetheart." meredith and derek would walk up to you, probably after a surgery
- "uh yeah, hi." you half-heartedly greeted them, focused on your notifications to see if your classmate had texted you
- "hmm it seems like greeting your parents isn't a thing anymore." derek would tease you
- you lightly smiled, not really looking up from your screen
- "hello y/n." chief webber would come up to you smiling
- you wouldn't hear him because you were too preoccupied with your phone
- "y/n? don't be rude, say hi." meredith would tell you, her voice a little bit high pitched
- "huh?" you would say before looking beside you and seeing richard
- "oh hi chief! i'm sorry, i didn't see you there." you would smile at richard before looking back to your phone
- "sorry about that chief. you know teenagers and their phones." derek would shoot you a glare
- but you didn't really care because you were waiting for your text
- "oh that's okay shepherd. i know all about the twitting and texting." richard would say
- "tweeting sir. not twitting." you would correct him
- just as you said that a notification popped up from your classmate
- saying that they couldn't come to your house anymore
- which meant you would have to do most of the project on your own
- "fuck!" you would shout at your phone forgetting that not only was chief webber right beside you, but also your parents
- "y/n!" meredith would shout at you through her teeth, while derek just yelled out an "excuse me!"
- you immediately would realize what you had done
- and covered your mouth in shock and embarrassment
- "oh my god, i am so sorry!" you would say as your parents stared at you dead in the eye
