Just another streamer (A Corpse Story)

Chapt 23

Only just a few chapters to go until it is over! There will be many time jumps throughout the last 2 and especially the last one if not it means I'm doing a sequel but that's unlikely. Um yeah enjoy and please comment

Rae's point of view

It's been about 2 hours since she had gone over to corpse's apartment. Maybe they're fighting or they're having really good breakup sex but either way it's been awhile. I look over at poki and she's looking worried, we're watching greys anatomy so it's probably that. "We haven't heard from her in awhile, should we call her?" I ask. She shakes her head "no I'm sure she's fine" she waves off. A few minutes later corpse calls me. I answer raising my eyebrows and pausing the episode.

Corpse: is she home yet? She left about an hour and a half ago, she said she'd call me when she got home and I'm just worried

Rae: wait no she isn't, she's not with you? Did you guys talk? Are you ok?

Corpse: we talked, don't tell anyone but we're taking a break while she's going through with trials for Jareds case

Rae: ah shit I'm sorry, um I'll call the hospitals she could've gotten into a crash

As soon as we hang up my phones ringing again. The Martin Luther king Jr. Emergency room. Shit shit shit. "Hello?" I question. "Are you the roommate of a Amelia Garcia?" A lady on the other line asks. "Yes I am, is she ok?" I ask. "She has gotten into a car accident, she is lucid and is asking for a Rachel, imane and a man named corpse" she replies. "Ok um imane and I will be there in less than an hour, I will contact corpse I'm not sure if he'll come" I let her know. "Okay, just come to the emergency room entrance" she replies. "Okay thank you" I reply hanging up.

"She's gotten into a car accident, let Janet and Celine know I'll call corpse while I change" I tell her. She nods running to Janet's room. She's streaming so hopefully nobody says anything. I run to my room putting on leggings and dialling corpse. He picks up right away "she's at the Martin Luther king Jr. hospital, she got into an accident, imane and I are heading there now" I tell him. "Shit fuck fuck" he screams. "If you don't want to be there because of anxiety you don't have to she'll understand" I tell him. "No I have to I love her" he says. "Ok I'll see you there then, don't drive too crazy focus on the road" I tell him.

After letting Janet and Celine know we head off to the hospital. Imane drives since I'm trying not to go crazy with worry. I scroll through Twitter distracting myself "fuck someone clipped you telling Janet" I tell her. "Fuck" she says. We get there quickly and meet corpse at the front doors. He's wearing a hood with his mask on, I can tell he's been crying a bit. We go in and I go up to the nurse "we're here for Amelia Garcia" I say. "Are you her roommates and boyfriend?" She asks. We all nod and she takes us to an area "she's sleeping right now, she has a concussion and a broken wrist so she will be ok" she lets us know. "Thank you" I whisper.

We sit with her for awhile and corpse is in the corner on the side by her bed with his head in his hands hiding his face. We're silent for about 20 minutes when a quiet voice comes from the bed "oh hey it's everyone that I love" she says. We all look at her and she's looking at us each. "Oh shit corpse what are you doing here?" She asks. We all laugh and he looks up and wipes his eyes "I was worried" he says. I smile watching them.

Amelia's point of view

I wake up from what feels like days but is probably a couple hours. "Oh hey it's everyone that I love" I say. They all look over at me and I look at them then notice corpse in the corner. "Oh shit corpse what are you doing here?" I ask. They all laugh and he looks up wiping his eyes "I was worried" he says. I nod "come here" I pat beside me. He sits next to me keeping his mask on. "I'm ok" I tell him. He nods "I just wanted to make sure" he says.

"I just let Janet and Celine know you're ok so they can tell their chats" poki said. "Oh, were they streaming?" I ask. Her and Rae both nod "yeah um it got you trending on Twitter for a good hour" Rae says. I nod "where's my phone?" I ask. "Oh it's in your bag, they found it safe" imane says. "Um can I have it? I wanna update everyone myself" I ask. Rae nods handing it to me, corpse grabs my hand laying his head on the bed. I feel his lips on my hand and I smile slightly. I go onto Twitter and see everyone mentioning me hoping for the best, and a few false articles.

I put my phone away and I talk with them for a few hours. Corpse holding onto my broken hand kissing it trying to heal it himself. "The doctor says that you'll be released in a few hours after testing, do you want us to bring you home or do you want corpse to bring you home?" Imane asks. I look over at corpse and she nods knowing I want him to bring me home, "we'll stay until you've gotta get more tests" she says. I nod and we talk for a bit having a quiet moment every few minutes.

About an hour later the doctor brings me to get another head CT and corpse stays in the area with his mask back on. "Is he your boyfriend?" She asks. I let out a sigh "yeah but it's complicated" I reply. She nods understanding "I get it" she says. She takes me back "I'll be back in about 20 minutes with the results, I'll prescribe pain killers for your wrist and your head, I'll also have a nurse wrap your wrist then in 6 weeks you come back and the ortho doc will check it out" she says. I nod gently and look over at corpse in the corner. "I'll be back" she says leaving.

We sit in silence for 20 minutes while the nurse wraps my wrist and then she gets back with the results. "It's not that bad of a concussion so just elevate your head and try not to move it too much so take a break for a few days from work and take these when your wrist or head hurt" she says handing me a bottle of pills. I nod "ok thank you" I reply. "I'll be back with the discharge papers" she says. I nod and a few minutes later she comes in with them and I sign the necessary papers for me to go home. I make sure I've got everything before we head out to his car quietly.

I sit looking out the window. "Um my cars a write off so I'm probably going to get some money back from my insurance" I say. He takes his mask off and grabs my none broken hand "I love you, I was so worried about you" he whispers. I sigh looking down "I think this break will be good for us, I love you so much I just don't want to hurt you" I tell him. He nods and I turn looking at him "please don't be upset I need you still" I whisper. He nods again and I kiss him deeply. He starts driving after I sit back looking in front.

Once he's dropped me off I kiss him again for the last time for awhile at least. "Love you" I whisper leaving. I go back inside sort of limping. Rae and poki are on the couch waiting for me and watching tv. Janet and Celine come out of their rooms and then they give me a group hug. "Are you two ok?" Poki asks. As soon as I think about it I start crying and i shake my head "I had gone over to break up with him, we're on a break until the trials over" I confess. They rub my back then we sit on the couch watching greys anatomy and eating ice cream for the rest of the night.

Throughout the night I end up crying every so often feeling very up and my head hurting even more. All of these emotions became too much. What they don't know is that I was pregnant until the crash. I found out a few days after the club incident and all of the trials and court hearings have been stressing me out and taking up my time so I had totally forgot that I was. When I woke up an obgyn came in and told me I lost it, I wasn't that far along so they were able to get me to pass it. Then they called Rae.

I suppose the break with corpse will help me cope properly of the loss of the baby. I also have endometriosis so it's hard for me to hold a baby, if I hadn't gotten into the crash I would've lost it anyways. There was no plan on telling corspse or any of the girls I've had to deal with miscarriages before and not have told anyone. I had 2 when I was with Jared, he didn't know ever. I'm strong enough to deal with it alone again.

After getting to my room I lay down falling asleep for the night. It's been wild so I decide to sleep for almost a whole day.
