Boston?

The United States?

How have they made it to Boston while police are looking out for them? When Howard is searched for murder and kidnapping?

How did they cross the Atlantic in a few days right under the police radar?

Why do they have these images of Collin and nothing is being done to find him? Why isn't already a team of people looking after him from the second they stood foot in the United Stated? I'm sure they had to show any sort of identification papers to go through the border and into Boston.

How the hell did Howard manage to go right through the police radar while nothing happened to him? How is this man walking around freely while we are being heavily interrogated by the police when we have done nothing wrong? Everything we did was in self-defence.

After Noah told us where these imaged came from, none of us could believe it. We remained quiet, simply staring at each other not knowing where to begin. This was just too unbelievable to be true. We knew there was a possibility Collin was no longer in the country, but we never thought they would manage to cross the Atlantic or any other place without being caught by the police.

"How did they get there?" I am the first one to speak as Harry remains speechless about what he just saw. I'm sure the same questions are running through his mind, as this is just unbelievable. Collin is right there in the footage, they know it is him because otherwise, they wouldn't have it in their systems. But they had it secretly stored, because they found him but weren't planning on doing anything about it.

Why aren't they doing anything?

"We couldn't figure that out, but these images are in the police secret systems and they chose to ignore it, at least there is no known action being taken at the moment." I shake my head at his words.

"Why?" I ask once more even if I know Noah doesn't have all the answers I am looking for. 

He seems as surprised are we are with these new bits of information about Collin's location. We all knew the police weren't doing much of an effort in finding him, but come on, they have the footage! They know Collin was in Boston yesterday right next to a highly searched man.

"If I had to guess, I think the gang or someone with a high rank is behind all this. The police aren't doing anything maybe because they can't or they don't want to face the consequences or their actions." I roll my eyes at his statement.

"They are supposed to help us." I state the obvious.

"Believe me Evelyn, if I was the one in charge of everything things would be different. Even if most of us want to fight for a safer world, corruption is very predominant here, especially in the police. Let's be honest, this is probably way bigger than what any of us even imagines." Noah explains, even if I am as clueless as I was before any of this information got to us.

Noah must have noticed my confused expression because he kept going. "You know how there is a gang behind this, the North gang has been around for years, even before any of us was even born." He says leaning against the sofa sitting more comfortably, making himself at home. "They have networks all around the world, so if Howard is in any way connected to them, which I think he is, it was very easy to get fake passports overnight and make it across the Atlantic without being stopped or questioned. It is even easier when the police here didn't even send an international warning to other countries, so they couldn't know they were filming a wanted criminal." 

My head was about to explode with all this information. How could the police do something like that? They had Howard, they knew where he is and still, no effort was being made to catch him and bring Collin home safely. It's a child we are talking about, they are letting a murder go away with kidnapping his own son and take him to a different continent, how messed up is all this?
