"Y/N-san, are you okay? " Small taps were felt at your shoulder as Miki stands in front of you with a worried look

"Huh-"

"He's been trying to get your attention for the past ten minutes " Akito said straightly as he looks up from the script he was reading

"Oh, sorry... I guess I wasn't paying attention... Again" You trailed off, subconsciously making triangles out of your fingers as a coping mechanism for nervousness.

Old habits are hard to get rid of

"All right then, so we take it from the top? " Takuya enters the conversation before you all get back to the opening scene for the play

The Summer Ensemble Cast got a different schedule for rehearsals as the main casts were doing other stuff on their own. However since joining the Summer Troupe, even as an ensemble, shook you up with a glance from a certain someone you thought you had lost a long time ago

You joined the cast, hoping to get experience and enjoyment as you found everything and anything boring ever since you had parted ways. It was more of a distraction for yourself rather than actually being able to enjoy it, and this is what held you back

The rest of the ensemble cast rehearsed until Yuzo came in with Izumi. They came in with serious faces as Yuzo told all of you to do it from the top and show the current level you were at

Pants, heavy breathing and a few coughs can be heard after a full run through of the play with just the four of you. It was hard, especially without the main casts being there.

"Newbie!" You flinched as you wiped a sweat running down your face.

"Y-yes...? " You asked, still panting, a worried look on your face as exhaustion showed through your whole body

"Are you taking this seriously or not?!" He asked rather harshly making you tremble on your feet

"You were distracted the whole time!" He followed with a much harsher tone, but he wasn't wrong, you were distracted and your understanding these days are terrible

Yuzo then sighed as he massages his temples while you were on the verge of crying, helpless as you knew you brought this on yourself

"Director!" He called out to Izumi making sure she knows what's she's dealing with

"R-right! I understand, leave it to me" she trailed off as she showed Yuzo out, giving you one last look before completely going away.

"It isn't like you to be so unfocused L/N" Takuya sighed as he approached you with some water

"I know.... I've been dealing-" You paused, what was it you were dealing with? The scary past? The happenings of the present? Or the unknown future? You didn't know, and you want to know it quick

"Y/N can I talk to you?" Izumi came back with a worried look on her face. You simply nod and followed her outside to where she was, just moments ago
