"Atsushi..!" You called out happily to your son who was now running towards you with a big smile and open arms. Your arms were held out and was waiting for him, as you watched his small figure get closer.

"Mama!!" He says jumping into your arms as you took a step back from the impact that had just been brought to you. You ruffled his hair and kissed his cheeks as he giggled at the affection you have been giving him

Half the people all around were in awe at the adorable and pure sight of mother and son whilst the other who knew you were in disgust. You tried to hide your nervous face from your son as you dunked your head into his neck as if hugging him before waiting for the others to go back to what they were doing

After the crowd has dispersed you looked at Atsushi with a nervous smile, chuckling to yourself as he squirmed a little, probably wanting to get down.

"Down you go..." You smiled putting him out of your arms and onto the ground where his small figure was now being evident in the public eyes.

You waited for him to become comfortable standing up before he took your hand- well few of your fingers- into his hands as he now waited for you

"Wanna guess where we're eating today?" You asked innocently with a teasing voice, swaying your held hands in a playful manner as he started getting excited. You just got your monthly pay today and you thought it might be nice to pick up Atsushi from school and suprise him a little

"Oh! Oh!! Are- are we going to that one place with a little park inside??!" He asked with him stopping for a while, just to jump up in joy

"You guessed right!" You said tugging on his arm softly to make him start walking again. He got your cue and walked along side you, adding hops and jumps to his steps and sometimes eyeing something that caught his eye whilst doing so

While you were walking there, you suddenly got a call from work, accidentally letting go of Atsushi's hand to reach for your buzzing phone. The small child's excitement was uncontainable as he started to get frustrated from all the waiting. He was jumping around and was stomping on the ground, impatiently waiting for you.

Once he had decided enough was enough, he made a run across the street. At this moment you turned your head and gave some of your attention to check at Atsushi to see that he was no longer in your grasp. You started to panic and trembling was evident in your voice as you reasoned to a higher up that you had an emergency, to which they understood and let you go

You looked around the area and cars were passing by quickly making you hope he didn't get run over or something worse. As your body and mind basically shut down and was focusing on the fact the your son was now gone, a light tap on your shoulder woke you up a little and yet managing to suprise you entirely

"Hello ma'am, is he your child?" The voice of the shoulder tapper said with Atsushi being held up in his arms. Before you could think, your body moved on its own picking him up from the stranger's arms and giving him a worried hug and checking all over to see if he was hurt or not

"Are you okay? Are you hurt? Did something happened to you?" Various questions like these were thrown at him as he just stood awkwardly once you had put him down.
