This is a sequel to The Secret Garden written Frances Hodgson Burnett. It takes off where The Secret Garden ends when Lord Colin Craven marries Lady Mary Lennox after World War I in 1920.
Lt Major Colin Craven newly discharged from HRH King George V military drives back to Misselthwaite Manor and he writes to Lady Mary to join him at Misselthwaite Manor in Yorkshire, England.
Lady Mary Lennox now 20 years has become a nurse in London, England where she studied at The Florence Nightingale School of Nursing.

Lady Mary drives out to Misselthwaite Manor to meet Lord Colin Craven that she hasn't seen since Autumn of 1911.
When Lady Mary arrives she heads for their garden but when she walks to her where she hide the key.
The key is gone and all of a sudden Ben Weatherstaff appears with the key to the garden and he doesn't recognize Lady Mary as she has grown up.

Ben Weatherstaff unlocks the garden door for Lady Mary and Ben and Lady Mary walk into the garden and it is magnificent.
Lady Mary hears Lt Major Colin call out her name " Mary."
Lady Mary turns around and walks over to where Lt Major Colin is standing in his uniform.
" I wrote you Mary when I was attending Oxford University and asked you to marry me and I wrote you at the front too. Why wouldn't you answer me.?" Lt Major Colin asks Lady Mary.
" I was waiting until you asked me to marry you out in our garden." Lady Mary exclaims.
" I should have known. Will you marry me Lady Mary Lennox?" Lt. Major Colin asks her.
" Of course Colin." Lady Mary exclaims and with that they embrace and kiss.
