If Stefan Salvatore was being honest, he was not happy to be going back home. It wasn't in his plans before and it wasn't in his plans now. But, Stella Carter was a very convincing woman. So, here he was packing a bag to return to Mystic Falls. "Do you have everything?" she asked as she packed her own. "Nope. I'm leaving my will to live here" he replied dramatically, making Stella roll her eyes. "Stop being a baby and pack. If we leave in an hour we'll be there in no time" she stated as she zipped her bag. "I'm gonna make Hope's bag. When I come back yours better be done" he kissed her and nodded before she left for Hope's room. It was odd for Stefan to be in a house with a human. Well, a powerful witch and their baby. Stefan never called Hope Stella's baby. He called her, their baby. As in Stefan and Stella's baby. He loved Hope as if she was his own. Now, Stella was his girlfriend and he loved her. Maybe it was too soon but he did love her.

In Stefan's own words, Stella Carter was perfect. She was kind, compassionate, loving and selfless. Something that Elena nor Katherine ever were. It took Stefan a very long time to realize Elena was selfish. She never really cared about other people. But, Stella did. She cared for everyone. She always told him to be kind. Her very own words; "Kindness is free. Love is free" and he loved her for it.

For the kind person she was. She made him better, now Stefan Salvatore could drink blood and not have the need to open someone's arteries. Stella retuned with Hope in her arms.

"We're ready. Are you?" she asked as she leaned on the door. "No. But, I have to see them, talk and then leave" he replied. She nodded. "The sooner we leave, the sooner we'll get to come back" she stated. Stefan, Stella and baby Hope made their way to Mystic Falls. On the road the couple talked. Before they began dating, Stefan talked about Elena and Katherine. How he fell in love with both doppelgängers. He told her about Silas. Stefan pretty much told her his life story and Stella sat beside him, held his hand and listen to every single word he said and comforted him in the end.

Finally, they crossed the sign that said 'welcome to Mystic Falls'. "Everyone is waiting for us at the Salvatore house. Are you ready to meet my brother and friends?" he asked with a smile. She nodded. "Nervous? Yes. But, I would like to meet Damon" she replied happily. Stefan loved her positive attitude, how anything she could find the good side. They came into a stop in the front door of the Salvatore home. Stefan took a deep breath before opening the door. Baby Hope was on the back seat.

Stefan opened Stella's door. Damon, Elena, Matt, Bonnie, Enzo, and Caroline made their way to the door. They all felt guilty for what had happened with Stefan. They walked out, the saw Stefan walked out but they did not see Stella. Stefan walked over to them and stood a few feet away. "Damon, Elena" he greeted them, but there was no hug. "Hey" he simply said to the rest. "I want you to meet some people" in cue, Stella walked over to them with Hope in her arms. "This is my girlfriend Stella and our daughter, Hope" he introduced them.

To say everyone was shock would've been a big understood. "I'm sorry, your what?" Damon asked. "Hi, I'm Stella Carter and this is my daughter, Hope" Stella said with a smile.

Stefan Salvatore had a lot of explaining to do.
