___ In New York at the Avenger's tower, the sound of heels clicking echoed the lower building of the tower as Roman walked in causally many of the guards tried to touch her but failed due to her flinging them side to side like ragdolls.
She walked to the elevator hitting the first floor while chewing gum. Roman was quite difficult to find one would just find all the clues and evidence they needed but she would disappear off the face of the earth if she wanted to.
She was also wearing a simple long red dress with black heels, Nick told her to be here a day ago but she still had unfinished business to deal with. The elevator dinged as the doors opened revealing many people drinking and partying.
"There she is" Fury chimed grabbing Roman and leading her over to the other Avengers who were crowded together. "This is Roman Santiago she'll be helping you guys on your mission to stop Ultron" Fury introduced as Roman popped the bubblegum in her mouth.
"Hey. . ." Roman murmured she wasn't used to so much social contact even back when she was in Washington DC she only ever spoke to REDACTED because she felt safe with the woman. "It's nice to meet you Roman I'm Natasha" the redhead introduced herself leading her off towards a bar.
"You don't look like a Natasha more like a. . . Karen" Roman said grabbing the glass the bartender gave her. Natasha held in her laughter as she swallowed her glass of tequila. "I'm happy you know, this is the second time the Avengers have recruited a woman and now I have someone to relate too" Natasha explained as Roman eyes scanned the tower.
Eventually, Roman found herself in the living room of the tower watching as the Avengers tried to lift Thor's hammer each and every last one of them failed except Steve. Roman watched as the hammer budged a little but Steve didn't notice this and just gave up smoothing his shirt out.
Roman knows she shouldn't get attached but right now she feels that she actually belonged as she joked around with Natasha.
" The handle's imprinted, right? Like a security code. Whosoever is carrying Thor's fingerprints is, I think, the literal translation?" Tony came up with a solution as Thor chuckled before answering. " Yes, well that's, uh, that's a very, very interesting theory. I have a simpler one."
Everyone leaned closer for Thor's answer, "You're all not worthy." Everyone shook their heads as a loud screeching noise made everyone cover their ears, mostly Roman due to her heightened senses her ears can hear up to a mile away.
