Doesn't everyone deserve a second chance at love?
Neither Charlie nor Alex expected it when their paths crossed. Not in any way shape or form. But life sometimes has a funny way of mixing things up. Especially when you least want it to.
"Charlie Swan if you splash me once more I swear I will burn your bacon!" Alex shrieks as he flicks her with water from the sink.
He laughs hard. "It was a twitch, I swear!" He laughs more.
She glares and kicks him playfully, dishing the bacon up. "You're lucky you're cute." She says, putting the pan in the sink.
Charlie smiles and they head to the living room, Charlie sitting in his armchair while Alex spreads out on the couch. "Thanks for cooking - again."
"Its okay, I have no desire to lose teeth from your cooking." She smiles, winking at him.
"Hey!" He snaps. "I am not that bad!"
"No no, not that bad." She smiles and giggles. They eat in a comfortable silence, the news on the TV. Charlie takes their plates to the kitchen and Alex looks around at the photos.
