Jungeun downed the rest of her drink as she saw Minho was finally alone. He was just about to go upstairs until she tapped him on the shoulder. "Fancy seeing you here, 'Minho'."

"Haha, yeah. Surprise. It's me." The wolf said nervously but Jungeun didn't think much of it. "Um, I was just about to go to the bathroom and then head out. My appearances are always short and sweet. Kind of like you."

Jungeun could feel the heat rise in her cheeks at the complement that the mascot casually slipped in. She decided to play along. "Well, if I'm that sweet do you have time for one little conversation with me?" Jungeun didn't know if it was the few drinks she'd had or the adrenaline rush she had right now but she felt brave tonight. Minho looked up towards the stairs before turning away and guiding Jungeun to a quieter area. "So, um, how are things with your-" Minho hiccuped before continuing. "Father?"

"I can't say they're all good but I'm dealing with it a lot better now. And our talks the past few weeks or so have kind of- well they've definitely helped a lot. I guess I just wanted to thank you. Once again."

"My pleasure. I get what having crap parents is like but that's a story for another time."

"Well, like I said the other day, I'm here to listen. As long as it's out of office hours." She joked. Jinsol chuckled lightly, almost forgetting that it wasn't actually her who Jungeun thought she was talking to. Since she was still salty about their last tutor session (which was only worsened by the fact she was drunk), she decided to use the opportunity to pry a little. "Speaking of office hours, how are your tutoring sessions with Jinsol going?" Jungeun narrowed her eyes at the mascot. "Jinsol told you about those?"

"U-uh, yeah. I guess you know from experience that I'm a great listener." Jinsol knew she didn't sound convincing but she also knew Jungeun wouldn't able to help herself and spill out her true opinions about the older to her new wolf therapist.

"Well, to be honest, they're going terrible. Literally nothing is clicking for her and it's starting to get frustrating. Sometimes it feels like she doesn't even want to pass."

"You don't know that. You shouldn't judge her when you don't know what might be going on in her life." The mascot said slightly annoyed. The comment caught Jungeun off guard. Was she being a hypocrite by writing Jinsol off as a lost cause without any background? In Jungeun's defence, she wasn't exactly proving herself any better tonight. The girl got wasted within the first couple of hours of her own party and then disappeared. She couldn't even do this right. But maybe Minho had a point. Even Jungeun herself had issues that Jinsol didn't know, so what was to say that the older girl didn't have her own issues? "Maybe I'm not exactly helping her by getting mad at her for no reason."

Jinsol looked Jungeun in the eye from the inside of the Minho costume. She couldn't completely comprehend what the other was saying since she was already pretty drunk but it gave her some hope that Jungeun wouldn't give up on her. Maybe she could graduate and prove her family wrong. But then Jungeun carried on talking.

"But even if I do be less aggressive, what if it doesn't work? I don't want to say it, but she honestly might just be incapable." And that was it. That's what Jinsol had been told her whole life. By her parents. Her grandparents. Her teachers. And now even the student vice president thought so. Jinsol's head was spinning as Jungeun was talking, she thought that if she didn't get out of there, she would have blown up at the younger girl and exposed her identity. She simply sighed "I gotta go Jungeun." The vice president looked at her in confusion. "Now? Well, I'll see you at school?" Minho walked away, heading upstairs as Jungeun stood there in confusion. Had she just blown her chance at getting closer to the person in the mascot suit?
