"but moments don't last forever, a black haired girl with blue eyes learned me that."

One thing Iris loved was words, she talked about all those complicated words that I never understood and she always had to simplify her sentences. It always made her laugh when I gave her a look and asked

"now please say that in English" her eyes would nearly close and she would thrower head backwards and open her mouth letting the soft laugh fill the air. She would always get a new favorite word every week, she would write them down in an old notebook. I was slowly looking though it, her sister had come over earlier and given us four boxes one for Lani, one for Teagen, one for my parents and one for me. I turned the page a small flower was glued to the page it was completely flat, I smiled as I stroke my hand over the flower. There was five words written on the page with a small explanation on the side. And a small note next to it

Twitterpated~ love struck , what Toby makes me feel

Heliophia~ desire to stay in the sun/ love of sunlight, the sun is like a happy versioning the moon, the moon is me the sun it Toby

And the list kept on going, over half of the descriptions was about me, some of them made me smile, and some made me sad. I smiled as I closed the book. A small flower fell out from inside of the book and I carefully picked it up. It was a 'Forget-me-not' I smiled as I opens the last page, placed the flat flower down on the empty page and closed the book.

I opens the window and the cold air hit my face and made goosebumps flutter over my whole body. I slowly climbed up onto the roof and layer down before looking up at the stairs.

My grandma had used to tell me that when we die we fly up into the sky and become a star always shining for the ones that's still alive. She would tell me amazing story's about every star that I pointed at. One had been a man who had never loved his life until another man came into his life, that got married and adopted a little girl. But all three of them died in a horrible car accident. She said that the two stars close to the one was his daughter and husband.

I smiled as I looked over to a big star shining alone on the outside of a few others.

"That's Iris" I heard my voice flow into the cold air as they left my body. I smiled as I looked over the stars, I decided in that moment that the stars was my favorite. They where so many, but so few. So many, but so alone.

 So many, but so alone
