Chapter 97

Erika's POV: Today is Jake's birthday. He's turning 18, he's the first one of the crew. Lucas got the house, it's a surprise for Jake and for us honestly. Only Lily and Lucas know what it looks like. It's currently 9am. I texted Logan and he said Jake just got up. I went downstairs got my phone and my keys and went to his house. I knocked and Pam opened up.

Pam: Hey sweetie. Come in - she hugged me and I came in - He just got off the shower should be down here soon

Erika: Oh okay

Pam: Come on, I just finished breakfast

We went to the kitchen, I sat down, Logan came a bit later and eventually I heard Jake coming downstairs so I hid in the living room.

Jake: Morning!!

Pam: Hi honey, happy birthday! - she hugged him

Jake: Thanks mom

Logan: How're you feeling bro?

Jake: Old man.. - they chuckled and hugged too - 4? - then I came running and jumped on his back - Oh god

Erika: Happy birthdaaaaayyyy!!!!!

Jake: Lol thanks babe - he kissed me and I hugged him

We had breakfast, then I stood with Jake for a while just chilling outside. Eventually Lucas came.

Lucas: Dude!

Jake: Dude.

Lucas: It's official bro! - Jake chuckled - Bring it - they bro hugged

Lucas: So? How're you feeling?

Jake: Normal man, honestly.

Lucas: Yeah.. come here - we went to the front of his house and there was a bike outside, not any bike, he talked about this one so much, but it was too expensive or whatever. I did know about it. Lucas knew some guys that could get old pieces, Lucas got them, did a makeover and built it, the guys helped paying and it was something around a thousand dollars split by 6

Jake: Bro!! - I threw him the keys

Lucas: Happy birthday

Jake: Dude.. I can't..

Lucas: Shut up. It's from the boys plus Logan and your dad

Jake: Man..

Erika: He didn't buy it Jake - he looked confused

Lucas: I didn't buy any bike. I built it.

Jake: What?

Lucas: I know a guy. He got me the pieces, I fixed them and built the bike and voila.

Jake: Thanks man. Really.

Jake went for a ride and he loved it.

At lunch time we all went to one of Jake's favorite restaurants. Pam, Greg, Logan and Chloe tagged along with the crew.

Chance: My boy!! - they bro hugged

Sunny: Happy birthday Jakey - they hugged as well

Tony: Dude, freaking 18! - he chuckled and they hugged

The crew got him things to go with the bike, a jacket, a helmet, sunglasses, and he was thrilled. I still have his gift but for later.
After Jake wanted to go to paintball. We did. It wasn't my favorite thing but they had a lot of fun.

Later on the day Jake thought we were going to the go-kart place. Eventually he realized we were going the wrong way

Jake: Dude I think you missed the exit.

Lucas: Nope

Jake: But the kart place is that way

Lucas: We're not going there

Jake: Then where are we going? - we all smiled - What??

Erika: You'll see - he was getting anxious. Jake isn't a huge fan of surprises

About half and hour later we got to the house. At the front of it, it just seemed like a huge house but you couldn't see the back. Before we got into the highway

Lucas: Ok, put the blindfold

Jake: What? No no no

Erika: Trust me

The guys went in front of us and told everyone to stay quiet. We parked the car and took Jake inside. We went to the backyard and it was awesome. Lucas mentioned everyone to stay quiet and there were like 50 people and no one made a sound

Lucas: Ok we're here

Jake: Where? - he was facing the house

Tony: Take it off - he took it off

Jake: Nice house?

Lucas: Turn around - he did

Everyone: SURPRISE!!!!

Jake: Holy shit!

Us: Hahahaha

Jake: Dude it's the second year...

Lucas: We're very good at this

Jake: Thanks man - they hugged, then Jake hugged me then the rest of the crew. The guests were getting kinda quiet

Tony: Let's party people!!

Lucas: Hit it - the DJ started the music, the party was officially on. Jake was the first of.. everyone maybe to turn 18

Jake: Dude.. pool, hot tub, DJ, soccer goals, dirt bikes, trampolines..

Tony: Game room inside, room theater

Lucas: Jet-skis and an inflatable on the lake

Jake: Y'all are insane dude.

Chance: The bar is over there, food is near the grills.. enjoy man

Jake: Thanks bro

People were doing their own thing, there were people in the pool, in the inflatable, dancing, playing beer pong, playing soccer.. Jake was a bit shocked he didn't even know what to do

Erika: Jake?

Jake: Yeah?

Erika: Are you ok?

Jake: I'm just.. surprised. I wasn't expecting this, at all - I smiled and put my arms around his neck

Erika: You deserve it Jakey. And I shall quote "go big or go home". So

Jake: Lol. Well it's awesome, I love it

Erika: Good - I kissed him - So? What you wanna do?

Jake: I don't know

Lucas: Hey man - Lucas came closer - How about we go to the lake while we have sunlight

Jake: Yeah sounds good, let's do it

We went to the lake, there was a huge inflatable there that leaded to the water, some jet-skis. We're having a lot of fun, but I still have to give Jake his present.. I hope he likes it
