Erika's POV: It's around 8pm now. The party is going great, everyone is having a good time. I still haven't given Jake his present. I actually want to steal him for a little bit.

Jake: Hey beautiful

Erika: Hi - he was breathing heavily - Are you ok?

Jake: Yeah, we were playing soccer, kinda tied

Erika: Oh alright. So..

Jake: So?

Erika: Can I steal you for a minute? - he smirked - Not like that! - I slapped his arm and he laughed

Jake: Yeah sure. Come on - he held my hand and we went upstairs. There was a little balcony to the front side of the house, where was a little bit more quiet.

Erika: Ok so, you might have noticed that I haven't given you your present yet

Jake: Baby, you are my biggest present - I was about to talk but he just left me speechless, I probably blushed a lot as well cause he chuckled

Erika: Anyways.. I did get you something. But first this - I gave him a letter.

Jake: A love letter?

Erika: Maybe

Jake's POV: When Rik gave me the letter, not gonna lie, my heart started racing. I opened it and it was kinda big. "Dear Jake, getting you a gift is never easy, specially for me because I want them to mean something to you. I know you like giving presents better then receiving, but I think you'll like this one. Or should I say these? Well first of all you might be thinking why in the world is Erika writing me a letter?" I chuckled out loud and Rik smiled "well you see, I wanted to talk to you about the present operation, it's what I'm calling it now. So! First of all, I actually had no idea in what to give you or whatsoever. Then I came with little ideas, but I thought they weren't enough, so I just put them all together. I really hope you like them. I know if you don't like you won't tell me that cause you're just not that kind of person. I just wanted you to know how much I love you and how much you mean to me. I know it's only been a year, which for me is a lot, but I can't imagine my life without you. Happy birthday Jakey, I love you. Rik" - I smiled and looked at Rik. She was gonna say something but I kissed her and hugged her.

Jake: Thank you Rik

Erika: I didn't even give you the presents yet

Jake: It meant a lot tho. - she smiled and handed me a deck of cards - "52 reasons why I love you" - I looked at her smiling, my heart instantly melted

Erika: That's just a little idea that I had. - I read them, and honestly I was getting emotional

Jake: I love you - I kissed her forehead

Erika: I love you too. Ok next one - she gave me a little box. It was key chain. "Wherever you go, come back to me." And it had a hole in shape of a heart. She showed her necklace and it was the perfect fit. There was a J and an E on the necklace as well.

Jake: You're killing me Rik.. - she kissed my cheek

Erika: Ok so last one. I know you love your wallet because I gave it to you, but it's trashy Jake. - I was about to say how it's perfectly fine and I'm wasn't buying another one - So here - she handed me another little box.

It was a very nice wallet, I opened it "you're the best thing that happened to me. I love you and you mean the absolute world to me. J&E ❤️"

I hugged her, not gonna lie my eyes were kinda watering..

Jake: I love you Rik, so much.

Erika: Omg are you crying? - she wiped away my tears - I love you Jake. - I smiled and she kissed me - Did you like it?

Jake: I loved it. It was the best. I was not expecting all of this. - I immediately got everything from the old wallet

Erika: You can do that at home

Jake: Nah. Here hold this. - I changed everything and put it on my pocket. - Now you can throw that one away because I have a better one - I put my tongue out and she giggled. I just looked at her. She's the best thing in my life.

Erika: What?

Jake: I don't think you understand how in love I am with you. - she was caught off guard, she blushed a lot

Erika: Hm

Jake: It's ok, you don't have to say anything.

Erika: No, I mean. I do understand. Cause I'm in love with you too.

Jake: It's not the same

Erika: I know, I love you more - she went inside

Jake: Yeah right. We both know I love you more

Erika: Nope. I love you more

Jake: No I do. I'm bigger, my heart is bigger, therefore I love you more

Erika: Hey that's not fair! - I chuckled. She came closer to me and hugged me

Jake: I love you Rik

Erika: I love you

We kissed, stood there for a while, you know.. Until we heard someone calling us.

Erika: They're calling for us

Jake: It's fine - I was about to kiss her again but she put her hand in front of my face - Fine.. - she giggled and I got up. I put my shirt back on

Erika: It's backwards

Jake: What? - I looked at my shirt and it was backwards. I took it off and put it on again

Erika: God you're so hot - I smiled and helped her up

Jake: Look who's talking- she pecked my lips and we went downstairs

Lucas: I gave you an hour

Jake: Shut up - he chuckled

The party was still going strong. I was going outside with the crew when I looked at the cake. And then it hit me.. I'm fucking 18!
