gone to bed my stomach in pain
didn't eat the entire day
the voices repeating in my head
"you have more to lose" they said
I wanted to eat but my hands wouldn't let me
my mind craved the empty sensation, in fact it felt elation
the cessation of my thoughts let me rest, but tomorrow I'll have to do it all over again
