he loved me but i didn't love him
it hurt me watching him in pain
seeing how my silence made him ache
I wish i could've taken it away
3 words were all i needed to say
but I didn't feel that way
so every day I watched my best friend wash away
and be replaced with a non-beating heart
that I couldn't help him restart
