When I woke up in the morning mom was downstairs making breakfast, she was making bacon and eggs like every sunday. I sat down at the island and give her a smile before rubbing my eyes "Morning mom" I said
"Morning" she said giving me a smile back before turning back to the food she was cooking
Mom is a good cook but as soon as she gets distracted, she burns the food, we have learned that the hard way. We were trying to cook and play a card game at the same time and needless to say we got to invested in the game and forgot about the food on the stove. We ended up ordering pizza from the place down the street, they know our order by our name
We don't eat there alot but we did for like a week straight and I think thats when they memorized our phone number and order, its quite funning because when we call they always ask if we want our usual and they cook it in under 20 minutes
"Hey lets not tell anyone about my mutation just yet if thats okay with you" I said leaning all my body weight on my crossed arms that were on the island
"Sure whatever you want hon" mom said giving me a smile
I pulled out my phone and texted my friend CJ, I've known her from when we were in high school. Mom had home schooled me until I was in 5th grade but then I convinced her to let me go to public school and man did I not think that one through. I thought mom was tough on me, she was a cake walk compared to public school but it was to late and plus I didn't want to give mom the satisfaction of knowing she was right
She answered me almost imediatly

Hey what you doing today
Me
Oh you know just moving in with the father who doesn't want me
She knows about the whole Tony and my moms situation, on how Nat adopted me and isn't my real mother. She supports me and is on my side how Tony shouldn't have left but he did and there is nothing we can do to change it
CJ
Shut up no way
Me
I'm serious I met him the other day and he asked me to move into the Tower and I accepted I mean I couldn't say no because it would kinda look suspicous
CJ
Yeah but isn't it going to be weird like does he even know who you are
CJ always asks questions and when she starts asking questions she normally doesn't stop until she asks about a 100 more
Me
No and hopefully it stays that way oh did I mention he has another daughter that he lives with and he takes care of her like a dad should

No seriously

Yikes are you okay with that
Me
No I'm not okay with it but I can't really tell him that because if I do he will ask questions and then I will have to tell him how I'm his daughter and he left me when I wasn't even born

True but he should know and you need to be honest and tell him the truth he kinda has a right to know
Me
Yeah true but I can't it wouldn't be fair to either him, or his new family
CJ
But its not fair to you

That doesn't matter

But it does

CJ I said no I'll be fine I have you and mom and he has his family so we are even lets end this I don't want to talk about it anymore, I got to go mom is done making breakfast

Okay talk later
I left the conversation at that, I didn't want to talk about my dad anymore. I mean I'm going to live with him and thats bad enough, like what if I slip and expose myself as his daughter. Would he want me or would he kick me out and ignore me again like he did for the first 22 years of my life
I looked at the food and started to eat "Thanks mom its good" I said eating more
"Your welcome you need the strength for moving today" she said moving the food around on her plate nervously
"Mom it will be alright" I said grabbing her hand "I'll be okay" she looked up into my eyes "I promise"
"You know you really don't have to do this" she said still looking at me
"I know but if I don't what will everyone think, if I don't move in it looks like I'm hiding something and I am mom I'm hiding the fact that I'm Tonys daughter he never wanted" I said looking down sad "I'll be okay I have to be"
"Just know I'll be there the whole way" she said picking back up her fork and eating
"I know" I said taking my hand back and finshing up my food and bring my plate to the sink washing it and putting it in the dishwasher. Soon this life style would be gone or it will change at least, I'll mostly be doing the same stuff except there will be maids and cleaners who clean up some of my messes
"Now go get your bags we should get going" mom said cleaning up the rest of breakfast
I walked up the stairs and grabbed my bags looking at my room one more time before walking back down the stairs and into the living room leaving my bags there, walking back into the kitchen seeing mom finishing the last dish
"I'm ready" I said smiling and leaning my head against the wall
"You know you can come here any time you want the door is always open" mom said walking into the living room and grabbing a bag
"I know" I said following her and grabbing my other bags walking out of the house and loading them into the car before getting in ourselfs and pulling away from our home
We made our way through the town and soon I saw Stark Tower coming into view, now this is where I would be living and my life is going to change forever
