Chapter 17:Soaked

I was doing the dishes and I could hear muffled laughs coming from behind me, I turned around and saw everyone standing in the door way looking at me.  They were all laughing "Do you have a problem" I said taking the earbuds out of my ears

"No just intrigued on your dance moves" Pietro said smiling at me

My eyes widened and I shook my head "OMG you didn't" I said biting my lip nervously.  I really can't dance for the life of me at all this is so embarrasing

"What I liked what I saw" He said smiling at me.  I could feel my face getting red and I was more embarrassed now, he just said that infront of my mom and dad

"Oh god" I put my hand over my eyes and turned back around doing the last dish before grabbing my phone and walking out of the kitchen.  Everyone was still in the doorway watching me walk out of the kitchen and up to my room were I slammed my door real loudly trying to add effect

"UGH" I said taking my shirt off, I was standing in my bra and pants.  'Knock Knock' "Come in" I said with my back to the door throwing my shirt on the bed and closing the drawer

I turned around and saw it was Pietro, he was looking at me.  I looked down and saw I had no shirt on I quickly turned around and reached backwards to find my shirt on the bed

I put it on and I could tell Pietro was still starring at me "What can I help you with" I said trying not to be awkward.  I mean this is pretty awkward he just saw me without a shirt on and although we have something it is still awkward

I mean when I'm training I'm in a sports bra that covers but I was in a bra bra and that was super awkward "Um yeah Nat sent me up to tell you we are watching a movie downstairs" he said still looking at me awkwardly

"Thanks" I said walking past him and down to the movie room, we don't really use the movie theater because its really fancy so we normally use the living room to chill but nobody was in the living room so I walked to the movie theater were I found everyone in a recliner

I sat down next to mom and reached my hand in the popcorn bucket taking some and eating it, I looked at the screen and couldn't tell what we were watching "What we watching?" I asked quiety towards mom

"I don't know Tony told us to sit and watch and then he passed out the popcorn" she said giving me a smile

"Okay" I said looking back at the screen trying to figure what movie we were watching

We watched the movie and it was good, it didn't take long until I realized we are watching Soul Surfer.  Its based on a true story about a girl who lives in Hawaii and surfs she is really good and then one day her arm is bitten off by a shark and she gets back up on a surf board and surfs more waves than ever before and today she is a world surfer with many metals

When the movie was over it was a little bit past 10 and I was tired, "Goodnight everyone" I said giving them all a wave and leaving the theater first

I walked up to my room and put my pjs on and went to sleep

When I woke up it was pretty early it was still 6 in the morning but for some reason I wasn't tired at all so I decided to go for a run.  I threw on some running cloths and put my hair up in a french braid

I went to the Washington Monument and ran around the pond in the middle.  More runners were running with me but then I heard something "On your left"  I turned my head around and saw it was Steve who said that and he was coming from behind and passing me not even breaking a sweat

I was in shock how did he pass me, I am a fast runner but he is way faster compared to me.  "On your left" he said again not even 2 minutes later and again I could hear him coming from behind me

"Don't you say it you asshole" I yelled at him turning my head to look at him

"On you left" he said not even stopping

I started ignoring him, I was running when I saw Steve standing under a tree next to a guy sitting on the grass out of breath, just like me.  "Steve leave the poor man alone" I said hitting his arm looking down at the guy, we were both looking at each other now

"Don't worry I'll fight him if hes bugging me" the mystery person said standing up now looking directly at me "I'm sam" he extended his hand

I took it and gave it a firm shake giving him a smile "Hope Stark" I said which was a little weird but I'm getting used to it more and more everyday

"Stark as in--" He was saying but I cut him off

"Yeah Tony is my dad" I said my eyes getting big.  I just said Tony was my dad out loud that was probably the weirdest thing I've ever said.  I have thought of him as my dad but never said the word dad out loud

"Oh" Sam said just smiling he probably didn't know what to do I mean how could he, this is starting to get a little awkward

"It was nice to meet you Sam but I have some things to do back home" I said turning away from him and looking at Steve "I'll see you at the Tower" I walked away once Steve gave me a head nod saying he understood

I was walking back to the tower when I felt like I was being watched, I turned around and couldn't see anything but when I turned back around I was hit in the head with something hard and everything went black

Hey everyone sorry about the cliffhanger but I will be super busy for the next week I will try to write every second I have the chance to but anyway hope everyone is doing good and happy reading
