Chapter 6

You look at Octavio as he turns back towards you.

"So, I heard the word burritos." You said, giving an embarrassed smile since you really didn't understand anything else he said.

He laughed lightly and nodded.

"Yes, chica. We're gonna be getting their special ones. In my opinion they're pretty delicious." He said, leading you to a table. You sat down across from him and looked at him.

"Hey Tavi?" You begin.

He looks at you, perking up by the use of the nickname.

"Will I ever be able to see you with your mask off?" Everything you've seen of him online he always had his mask on, and you haven't seen his face at all since you've met him in person.

"Well, I normally don't wear my mask or legend outfit while out of the battle field. But since you came right after our match I didn't have time to change. So yes, you will see my face. And besides, i can't eat with a mask on." He explained as you began to nod your head in understanding.

'I know for a fact his face is attractive. ' you thought, beginning to smile like a little kid.

He seemed to notice you smiling and tilted his head, taking his goggles completely off his face and setting them on the table.

"What are you smiling at? Extraño." He said, giving a slight chuckle.

You cover your mouth quickly, not realizing you were smiling at all.

"Uhhh.. nothing my bad!" You say, looking at him.

You were just now realizing how beautiful his eyes were. They were a really nice green color, and the way the light bounced off of them was just *chefs kiss*.

After a few seconds of you two just staring at each other, the lady Octavio was talking to earlier walks over and sets two plates down. Both of them had large, fat burritos on them. It honestly looked so delicious. And don't get you started on the smell.

You both thanked the lady, and she nodded her head at you both. She was so sweet looking, yet you thought it was pretty odd how she hasn't spoken at all.

You then looked at Octavio who was getting ready to take his mask off.

Why were you nervous?? He was just taking his mask off, it's not like it was personally attack you or anything. Would it?

He looked at you and laughed, you looked like a child waiting for their mother to give them a piece of candy. And well, it was candy. Eye candy.

He grabbed the sides of his mask and began to pull it away from his face. And within a few seconds it was already off and on the table.

"Woah." You said, instantly covering your mouth when you did.

"¿Que? Is it something I said?" he asked you playfully, as he picked up the burrito on his plate.

"What? No no no, I was just surprised." He was really attractive.

You weren't too surprised though, you could already tell. He shrugged his shoulders and opened his mouth to bite into the burrito. And that's when you saw it.

A green colored tongue piercing.

"You have a tongue piercing?!" You exclaim.

You never expected him to have a whole ass tongue piercing. But, you weren't complaining.

He looks at you and swallows the bit of the burrito he had in his mouth.

"Sí! I think it's pretty cool, no?" he said, sticking his tongue out so you could see it better.

"That's honestly so attractive I'm not gonna lie." You said as Octavio seemed to choke a bit.

His cheeks became a little rosy and he put his tongue back into his mouth. He let out an embarrassed chuckle as he began to rub the back of his neck.

"Gracias, I didn't know it was considered attractive. I got it because i thought it was cool." He said.

You picked up your burrito and began to eat it.

"No, it's definitely attractive. Trust me. It also suits you really well." You said, giving him a playful wink.

He stared at you for a bit and then smiled wide, his cheeks seeming to be a nice diluted red color. His smile made you feel butterflies in your stomach, and it made you feel all fuzzy inside. Especially since you were the cause.

That's weird, you haven't felt that way since last year. And you really didn't want to be reminded of who you felt it for.

You smiled back at him as the two of you finished your food while talking here and there about nonsense.

After you finished you cleaned up your table and left, saying your goodbyes to the lady who worked the counter.

He held his mask and goggles in his hand as you two began walking back to yours and his place.

"Oh yeah, what are your legend abilities and legend name? You haven't told me yet." he asked.

And that's when it hit you. You haven't made yourself your legend details.

"Fuck. You just reminded me. I haven't figured them out yet. " You said, beginning to stress a bit.

"Aye, don't worry chica. When do you have to get them in?" he asks you, scratching his stomach.

You open your phone and go straight to the emails, seeing two there already. One was your apartment passcode, and the other was one about your legend details. You open the one about the legend details and let out a relieved sigh.

"It says here I have until Friday of next week to get my information in. But I cant participate in the games until I get said information in." You reply.

That kinda sucked that you couldn't participate yet, but you understood why so you couldn't be too mad about it.

"I mean, I could help you if you want. I really wanna get on the battlefield with you, creo que será divertido." He smiled a bit.

You nodded and let out a soft giggle.

"Yeah, that is if we're on the same team. If not, I'll destroy you." You reply as you both get to your places.

He shakes his head at you and walks up to his door, and you walk up to yours.

"It was fun today, I appreciate you taking me to get some food." you thanked him.

"Of course. Que tengas una buena noche, hermosa." He said as he walked into his room, closing the door behind him.

You tilt your head in confusion as you take all of your belongings inside as you close the door behind you. What did he say at the end of that sentence?

You opened your phone and went to google translate. 'I'll just look it up' you thought.

Little did you know by looking it up, you were about to become a lot more flirtatious with that speed devil in the apartment next to you.
