Chapter 43: Memories

I remember this

You think to yourself as you stare at the ground below you. You were on the wall again, with your hands tied behind your back. Unlike the first time, you weren't alone.  Your mother was crying beside you as a man held her by her hair.

"Please don't do this," Your father begged from beside her "We'll do anything. Just let our daughter go!"

"Please spare my sons as well!" A woman cries from your other side. Looking to her you notice she looks like your mother, though she appeared to be younger. By her side were two young boys, one with brown hair and the other with blonde.

"Do the bitch first," A guard commands. You hear your mother cry out as the man behind her stabs a syringe into her neck.

"MOTHER!" you scream as he kicked her off the wall. It seemed like slow motion as she plummeted to the ground, her body sinking into the sand below.

"You god damn murderers!" your father yells.

"Murders?" The man behind him mused. "Does she look dead to you?"

You look down in shock as your mother began to move, though it was not in a normal way. Her body was beginning to spasm uncontrollably while she let out a bone chilling howl. Her clothes started to rip apart as her body grew rapidly in size. Her head grew five times it's size along with her arms and chest. She seemed top heavy as she rose to her feet, stumbling to keep balance. You along with the others cried out in horror causing your mother to look upwards. Her giant mouth stretched into a Cheshire cat smile while she reached up towards you.

"Aw would you look at that?" The man behind you cooed "Looks like she's reaching out for her baby, shall we do you next honey?"

"No!" your father yelled "Please do me instead!"

"Father!" you scream but the guard had already kicked him off the wall.

"Did you give him the serum?" The man behind you asked.

"Oops" the other smiled sheepishly.

As soon as your Father hit the ground, your mother went to him. For a moment it seemed as if she was trying to save him as she cradled him in her giant arms. But then it all went wrong. In a blink of an eye your mother bit into your father shooting his blood everywhere. "Fa-Father?" you stutter as your mother swallowed him whole. 

You were so caught up in your shock that you didn't even realize you were falling until your body collided with the ground below. Rolling on your back you look up in horror at your mother. Blood was dribbling from her mouth onto your chest as she reached out to you. Scrambling to your feet you just miss her fingers as they slipped past you. 

You ran as fast as you could but your mother was faster. You screech in terror as she grabs you, bringing you closer to her mouth. "Mom, please! It's me [Y/N]!" You began sobbing uncontrollably as her teeth closed around you, but right before she bit into your soft flesh, she stopped. Her mouth opened rapidly to the point where it nearly broke in half. Her body kept getting smaller and you didn't understand why, not until you looked down. Your body was rapidly expanding, shredding your clothes apart in the process. You screamed in terror but your cries were no longer cries, but rather ear shattering roars. 

 A thump behind you grabs your attention. Looking over you realized another person had been pushed off the wall. Like wild animals you and your mother sprint over to the fallen woman. Picking her up you saw it was the woman that was on your left. The one with the two sons. She looked at you with terrified eyes but before you could even stop yourself she was in your mouth. 

You could feel her screams vibrate through your cheeks as you bit into her spine, slurping her body down in one gulp. 

Soon another scream could be heard, this time from the boy with the blonde hair. You look over to see your mother grab ahold of his leg and bring him to her mouth. Just before he could be eaten, his body exploded in size knocking your mother backwards.  You didn't have time to react, as everything changed when you saw the boy's new face. You didn't recognize him as a human, but now you did.
