Aurora, Hotch, and Emily were together as they went to talk to one of the only witnesses, the only person who had any idea of wha could have possibly happened. The only problem was, he was completely deaf, therefore his only way to communicate what he saw was through signing, of course Emily mentioned that they could just have him write down his statement, but it would be a lot easier if someone was there to hold a conversation with him. Hotch was complaining about how long it was going to get a translator in there until Aurora just walked over there and started signing to him like it was no big deal. Hotch and Emily looked at each other with wide eyes and gaping mouths and then back to Aurora. They were shocked, they had no idea she could sign ASL.

After a few minutes of this interaction Aurora walked back over to them. "That witness didn't see anything that was helpful, at least nothing that we didn't already know so we should get going," Aurora said with a small sigh, she was mildly upset, it was kind of a bummer that the only witness who saw something ended up not being that useful.

Aurora turned her head and saw that Hotch and Emily both had questioning looks on their faces. "What? What happened? Are you guys okay?" Aurora asked while looking between the two of them.

"You know how to sign?" Emily asked still looking at Aurora with her mouth agape.

Aurora laughed and sarcastically responded, "Oh can you guys not?" before walking away and heading towards the SUV.

When the three of them arrived at the station Aurora took on the task of helping Reid with his geographical profile, although she could still hear the side conversation of the other team members that was going on behind her.

"She speaks sign language?" JJ asked in disbelief.

"She doesn't just speak it! She's completely fluent," Emily replied before asking, "How many languages do you think she can speak?"

Aurora laughed before turning around and responding to their question, even though they didn't know she was listening. "I can speak eleven different languages if you count ASL, but technically that's signing not speaking so I don't know if it really counts," she said with a smile before turning back around to face Spencer, who was now feeling discouraged at the measly amount of languages he knew how to speak.

Derek, Emily, and JJ all ran over to her and looked at Aurora in shock. Spencer had also temporarily stopped his work to listen in on this conversation. She could see Hotch was also listening, though he was trying not to seem to be obvious about it. "Eleven languages? No way! Prove it. Name every single language you speak!" Derek exclaimed but his face remained skeptical.

"I speak, ASL, English, Spanish, French, Chinese, Portuguese, Arabic, Japanese, Russian, Italian, and German," Aurora replied not even taking her eyes off the work in front of her. "I had a lot of spare time growing up."

They all just stared at Aurora, waiting to see if this was all some kind of joke, surely the new woman couldn't actually speak eleven different languages, they were shocked. Aurora just continued to work on the profile until she looked up to see they were all still looking at you with their mouths wide open. "Stäng munnen. De kommer att fånga flugor." (Shut your mouths. They will catch flies.)

They all looked at her. "I have no clue what that means but you are absolutely amazing," JJ said with a huge smile.
