you pressed a button on the computer, but heard a blaring horn as a result. you covered your ears in pain, "good job, y/n. you pressed the wrong one," you spoke to yourself while deleting what you just did.
you sighed and sat back in the chair. i only have three days before i have to submit this. there's no way i can get it donein time. you rested your elbows on the table and put your hands on your face while groaning in frustration.
you heard the door open behind you and someone walk in. "what is it?" you asked in annoyance since you didn't want to talk to anyone. "am i not allowed to see my girlfriend after practice?" you turned around in the chair and saw Jin standing in the doorway "you're done with practice? i thought you guys were staying late?" you asked him as he closed the door.
he walked up to you while you stood up from the chair. Jin hugged you and pressed his lips to your forehead, "we finished earlier than expected. how about you?" he asked. you sat back down on the chair, and he pulled up a chair to sit next to you, "honestly, i'm struggling" you admitted.
"you've been working so much lately though. that could be why, you probably just feel burnt out," he said to you and looked at the computer screen. "how many Songs are finished?" "one is almost done," you answered.
"but how many are completely finished?" he repeated. "none of them," you answered and rested your head on your hand. "i don't know what to do anymore," you heavily sighed and dropped your head in defeat.
you felt Jin rub your back, "babe, you're amazing at making music. don't be down," he said to you. "how about you take a break?" he suggested. "a break?i can't take a break," you said and clicked on a new song. "i've barely made a dent in this one," you mentioned and started adding to the song.
"hey, come here," he said. you looked at him and he patted his lap. you climbed onto his lap, and he hugged you. "you can't just work 24/7, babe. last time that happened, i found you passed out and had to bring you to the hospital. i really don't want you to overwork yourself again."
"but" "no, you're taking a break right now. i don't care if the deadline is soon," he interrupted you. you sighed and put your head in the crook of his neck, finally relaxing after being there since early morning.
"you worry me way too much," jin admitted and tightened his grip around you. "it makes me sad seeing you stressed out when you're working." "the same goes to you," you said to him and kissed his cheek. "thank you." i love you, y/n." "i love you too, jin."
