Chapter 1

Y/n : mum I don't care if he is my dad I don't want to change schools and move in with him. 

Mum : I don't care you are going to stay with him weather you like it or not now go pack your things.

Y/n : fine but you have to give me mobile data on my phone so I can message people on the train. 

Mum : yes okay just go get your bags ready we have to leave in 2 hours. 

After that I went to my room and packed my bags with clothes, photos of me and my friends, makeup, shoes and a charger, I never imagined moving a way from this place I have lived in this house my entire life grew up with theses people, I guess I would be lying to myself if I said I would not miss them all I got pulled from my mind by my mum shouting me 

Mum : come on we have 30 minutes before the train leaves lets go and get you on the bloody thing. 

I am gonna miss this room so much.

Y/n : coming mum.

At the train station 

Mum : I'm gonna miss you n/n. 

Y/n : I am gonna miss you to mum don't forget you can always text me if you need me. 

Mum : you and your technology. (laughs) 

I laughed to but in my mind I could only remember the fact I am not gonna see my mum in so long. I walked onto the train and sat down but I seen my phone light up, 

message from mum : miss you already<3 

reply to mum : miss you to <3 

the train ride was long after that but I finally got there and stepped of the train looking for my dad I couldn't see him at first but then I looked again and I seen him it is like he just appeared, anyway I walked over and he hugged me as if we had known each other for years. 

Snape : so how was your trip. 

Y/n : it was good thank you, anyway where are we staying. 

Snape : so long story short we are staying at the school i work at and the school you are starting today. 

Y/n : so we are living at the school isn't that weird. 

Snape : no at this school everyone lives there and no it is not like a boarding school it is different just wait until you get there okay? 

Y/n : okay so lets start going then. 

Snape : first we will go get your school supplies follow me. 

I followed him to a bar and we went to the back which confused me a lot, he tapped the wall a few times with a stick that kind off looked like a wand this door way opened we walk through and there was a sign called diagon alley  we walked for a bit and got a few things and then we had 2 more shops he said a wand and a pet, we walked into a shop called olivanders I tested a few wands and I finally found the one it was a Hawthorn wood with a phoenix feather core, 13 3/4 and surprisingly swishy flexibility. I am starting to get confused I pulled my dad to the side and asked 

Y/n : what is going on I am so confused.

Snape : oh sorry I forgot to give you this (hands me a letter) 

dear Y/n Snape 

we are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted to Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry. Students shall be required to report to the chamber of reception upon arrival, we await your owl no later than 31st July. 

Please make your way to kings cross station and onto platform 9 3/4 where you will will meet the Hogwarts express form begins 1st of September.

I read it twice I did not believe I was gonna be a witch, 

y/n : wait I am gonna be a witch and your my headmaster. 

Snape : pretty much yes but your in your last year of Hogwarts meaning your in 8th year and because not many people have stayed for 8th year you will be staying with all the houses meaning Slytherin, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Gryffindor you will also be sorted into a house. 

WHAT I was freaking out I mean I have done magic before but I never knew more people could do it let alone a entire school, does my mum know about this, 

Y/n : does my mum know about all this. 

Snape : no and you can not tell her you can not tell and muggles meaning no non magic folk and you can not do magic outside of Hogwarts. 

Y/n : okay I promise but you need to take me to get a pet we are going to be late. 

He laughed I had never seen him laugh and he looked so serious it made me laugh a little,

we went into  shop an got a owl he asked me what i wanted to name it and to be honest i had no idea 

Y/n :  I think I will name it Dakota.

Snape : I like it okay lets go, oh no wait we need to get you a broom I will just get you the newest best one they have. 

Y/n : thank you dad. 

he smiled when I called him dad, after that we got the broom and headed to the school, we walked to the great hall and just before we entered he said to me 

Snape : remember be yourself and everything will be fine I promise.

i just hugged him and we then opened the doors to the great hall.
