It got loud, like it often did when the sides began to fight. Patton looked between the two of them and watched as Virgil appeared. The anxious side glanced at Patton with an expression that said, 'this again?' Morality nodded and let out a small sigh.

Not long after, the noise lowered a bit and it was just Roman ranting.. which was odd. Logan didn't usually back down from an argument.

That was the point that it went too far, only Roman's voice was heard so they all knew who had said it. There was a gasp from Thomas while Patton and Virgil just stared at Roman like he had just grown a second head.

"What?" Roman looked around at the other sides and their host, apparently he hadn't processed what he just said to Logan.

Logan's vision had blurred, which was why he stopped arguing. He reached up for his glasses, which were on his face.

"Roman, I think you should apologise to Logan right now." The dad side said, looking between the two.

Virgil noticed that Logan looked dazed. "L? You alright?" He asked, reaching over to wave a hand in front of the logical side's face. "Uhh?" Virgil looked at Thomas and the others when Logan hadn't reacted.

Thomas was second closest so he stepped over next and tapped Logic's shoulder. "Logan?"

The male jumped and attempted to straighten himself up by fixing his already perfect tie. He began to breathe heavily as well, Virgil was the first to notice and caught Logan as he began to fall backwards. "Logan?!"

"I-I can't- I can't see" Logan stuttered, feeling someone catch him as his legs gave out. If he were able to think straight he might have deduced that this was due to stress and stressing out even more was not beneficial. Logan was in 'emotion mind' now and not 'reason mind' like he typically was. Post-incident, Logan would describe this feeling as 'unable to fully conceive reality.' He had temporarily lost one of his vital senses: sight. Though, in this moment, it didn't feel so temporary.

"What do you mean you can't see?" Thomas asked, straightening Logan's glasses, assuming that would resolve the issue. Patton soon came over as well and knelt in front of his friend to try helping.

Roman was uncomfortable, at this point he was pretty sure he had caused this and felt kind of bad about it. He sank out and went to his room to avoid being reprimanded. Logan did the same but for an entirely different reason. It was involuntary, his body could not handle being in the real word in this state so he, too, sank out and escaped to his room.

The three of them left in Thomas' apartment looked around at each other, clearly unsure of what to do. "Someone has to help him!" Virgil said and disappeared from view, only to reappear in Logan's room. "Try to breathe, okay? Remember what you told me, in for four, hold for seven, out for eight. Like this" Virgil demonstrated the breathing technique. It didn't seem to be working at the moment as Logan couldn't catch his breath. "Name five things you can see" Virgil said, switching tactics.

"Nothing! I can't see anything!" Logan practically shouted.

"Okay, okay, uhhh.. just move on. Four things you can feel." They went through the list, ending at 'one thing you can taste.' Logan took a breath as his eyesight returned as his heart rate slowed to a more normal level. "You're okay," Virgil said, "..it's okay."

"Apologies, Virgil, I don't know what came over me," Logan told him as he stood up from his carpeted floor. Virgil did the same and noticed Logan lost his balance for a moment so he guided him to the couch and they both sat down.

"It's fine, you don't have to be sorry." Virgil tried to assure him. "It happens to the best of us.."

"I suppose it does," was the logical side's response. He let out a relived breath and leaned against Virgil just a bit, feeling quite exhausted from his own stressful feeling. Logan relaxed even more when Virgil rubbed his back and gave his friend a gentle hug.

(I'm sorry that was kind of short, I haven't written anything in a while. I hope you guys liked it anyway. Please suggest more things, I'd like to practice and get better at writing.)
