chapter 9 : kartik's care

"I need to go,I will take some breakfast for Naira!"Kartik said and left.

He served the breakfast in the plate and then took it upstairs to their room.

He stopped on his tracks near the door when he saw Naira playing with Akshu.

For the first time in all these months he felt happy after he met her and now this moment was so special to him.

He was really happy with Naira is bonding with their daughter.

He just wished that her memories would could back to her soon.He is upset that she forgot him but he was not going to give up.

She lost her memories once and he never gave up hope then as well and that's what he decided to do now.

Kartik noticed that Akshu was sleeping and he found Kairav too asleep besides her.

"Here,eat this and I will take Akshu"He said.

Naira nodded and before giving Akshu too him she kissed on her forehead and then gave her to Kartik.

Kartik went over to her crib and gently placed her in there.

He came over to Kairav's side and made him sleep properly.

"Are you Okay?I mean you are not feeling weak or anything right?"He asked and she shook her head as no.

"Woh..actually I wanted to ask you something..!"He said

"Yeah,What is it?"Naira asked

"Actually I was thinking of taking you to the doctor once.I just want you to meet the doctor so he can tell me if there is any problem or something..!"Kartik said

"Why?What is wrong with me?I am fine naa..!"Naira said

He thought it was best if he reveals about her medical history

"Naira you have a medical history,You had a clot in your brain once and you had a surgery for that few years back and some time back too you had a kidney transplant.So I just want to make sure if everything is fine..!"He said and Naira nodded.

"So I will make a call and will see if can make an appointment in the afternoon.Will you be okay with that time?"He asked

"Yeah"Naira replied.

Kartik nodded and then went to make a call and get an appointment.

Kartik and Naira got ready and came downstairs together to go out for the hospital.

"Kartik where are you going?"Manish said

"I am taking Naira to the hospital,I think it is best if I get some tests done"He said and then left along with Naira.

Kartik was sitting in the doctor's cabin as Naira was undergoing the tests.

After sometime the doctor came.

"Doctor so is she okay?"Kartik asked

"You said she fell off from a cliff so my guess would be she must have undergo an surgery because her head did a rock but in the x ray it seems fine so there is no problem with it and everything else is also perfect so you don't need to worry about that!"the doctor assured and Kartik felt relieved

"But Doctor what about her memories?"He asked

"See Mr.Kartik their isn't anything we can do about that..we can't tell when her memories will come back"He said

"Can we do anything to help her bring her memories back?Like show her some old pictures,videos and something like that!"Kartik asked

"I think she is stable now so you guys can try!If it will help it will make it more easy to you!"The Doctor said.

"Thank you!Thank you so much!"Kartik said and came out.

When he came outside Naira came out of nowhere and bumped with him.She was about to fall but he caught her in time.

They shared an eye lock but that got ruined when Kartik's phone rang.Naira got out of his grip and moved back while Kartik answered the call.

"Haa Maa we are done here,we are leaving now!"He said as Swarna called to learn what is happening

"Let's go?"Kartik asked ending the call.

Naira nodded and then they left the hospital.

"Dadi Dadi!"Kairav said coming down happily

"Haa Kairav,What is it?"Swarna asked

"Dadi,Mumma papa's wedding anniversary is coming naa?Can we please celebrate it?"Kairav asked

"Haa Kairav sure!"Swarna said with a smile.

"Thank you Dadi!"Kairav said and went outside to play with Vansh and Krish

"Maa ji I think it is best if we celebrate Kartik and Naira's anniversary.It is so special to them and us too so what do you say maa ji?!"Swarna asked

"Haa Swarna you are correct!Kittu and Naira will also be so happy that day!"Suhasini said.

"Are you all sure that she really is Naira?"Rhea asked

"What do you mean Rhea?"Surekha asked

"Bua I mean..you all thought Naira was dead right..?"She said

"No one here thought she was dead and i think it will only your Bua who thinks like that!"Suhasini said

"I mean is there any proof that proves she is Naira?"Rhea said

"Oh so you need a proof to prove that she is my Naira?"Everyone looked towards the door when they heard Kartik's voice.

Kartik and Naira were standing there and Kartik was already furious while Naira remained silent.

"Naira come with me..!"He said grabbing her wrist and went towards her.

"Is this enough?"Kartik said turning Naira around and showing her tattoo.

"Naira always had a tattoo on the back of her neck!Is this enough or do you want more proof's Rhea?"Kartik asked and she didn't say anything else.
