Chapter 2

Y/N POV ** time skip**

August 30 9:23

I sat in the bay window looking out my telescope at the moon when Snape called me downstairs.

" Yes Snape, you called for me"

" Yes Y/N, I wanted to tell you that we will be leaving tomorrow," he said without even bothering to look up from the newspaper in his hands.

" WHAT..." I yelled. Snape looks up from his newspaper and gave me a deathly glare. I quickly looked down at my shoes regretting yelling at him.

"Sorry.. Why tomorrow school start in 2 days?"

"Well Y/N I do work there, and I thought it would just be easier to bring you with me , since I teach there and have to go in a day early to prepare for the devils"

I snort at his comment of him calling his students "Devils"

" I haven't even packed yet" i said now sitting down on the couch to my right

" I can help you, come on let's go" Snape said, putting his newspaper on his desk.

** small time skip**

"Well I think that everything you need. Cloths, School equipment, bathroom stuff" Snape says pointing to everything in my trunk.

"WAIT" I yelled. I rushed over to my bedside table and grabbed a picture of me on Snapes shoulder when I was younger. "There" I say putting the picture on the top of my clothes in my trunk. I look over at Snape and he has a big smile on his face

"That's my favorite picture you know" Snape said looking down at the picture then back up at me. I give a light smile and look down at the picture.

We both just stand there looking at the picture until I feel myself begging pulled into Snapes chest. I Put my arms around his torso and hug back.

"You know Y/N, I think of you as my own daughter..." a pause of silence fills the room. "I love you too Snape, you're like my second dad"

I pull out of the hug and look at him. " I need you to promise to stay safe, and NO BOYS"

I smile up at him " No promises" I say. He ruffles the top of my head making my hair a mess. "HEY" I say as I chase after him out the room.

** Time skip to the next morning**

"Y/N LET'S GO, GET UP AND COME EAT" I roll out of bed and take a quick shower and get dressed and rush downstairs.

"Here ya go Y/N" Snape says as he slides a plate of bacon and toast on it. I quickly eat less than 10 minute.

"Ready Y/N '' He says as he comes down the stairs now in a black long clock with our trunks floating behind him. "Why you dressed like that" I say as I shove the last bite of toast in my month. Usually I always see him in jeans and a T-shirt. "what do mean "why you dressed like" he says in a mocking voice. "Nevermind, let's go''

We walk over to the fireplace and step in. Snape then flicks his wand to teleport our trunks to Hogwarts.

He then take a hand full of Floo powder and says

"HOGWARTS"
