Chapter 18

Idk if I ever mentioned what happened after Andrea died so here is what happened. Think of this chapter as the sequel to Quantico Season 3!

Mike's POV:
I stared from the balcony and watched Alex talking to Isabella. They looked so cute together. As soon as Alex gave her a hug, I smiled.
"Imagine what hug she will give to our own kids!" I thought. Ugh! Get it together Mike! Alex is just your colleague nothing else. I was so busy in my thoughts that I didn't see Alex and Isabella get off the bench and head up to the balcony.
"Mikey!!" the seven year old screamed.
I quickly jumped and noticed the 2 of them behind me. I gave her a smile.
"What happened? Too busy in your thoughts." Alex asked, smirking.
"Anyone who has ever met you will always be thinking about you in their thoughts," I say.
Alex blushes and I just realize what I said.
"Uhh... that's not what I meant."
"Yeah totally!" she says sarcastically.
I start stuttering, "I mean.....what I meant.....I."
I couldn't find the right words and she noticed that. She gives a quick kiss on my cheeks and says bye. I was in shock when she did that, especially the fact that she did it in front of Bella.
As if she could read my mind, Bella said, "Don't worry! I am used to Parvati kissing someone. She and Daddy did it all the time."
I was surprised at the 7 year olds words. Just a day ago, she was the shyest person I had ever met. Now, she calls me Mikey. I gave Bella a quick kiss on the top of her head. The 2 of them left and I went back to my thoughts.
After about 5 minutes, I go back to my room in Titus Walker's house to get some coffee. When I head back to the balcony, I see Owen there.
"Hi," he says.
"Oh, hi," I say back.
"So... what happens next?" I ask him.
"The usual."
"The usual being......?"
He looks at me confused.
"I didn't have to do anything after the undercover mission other than join this team. I doubt that will happen again."
"Oh right. Not much..... usually just some therapy if you loose someone you loved or if this was an emotional case. And a briefing on what happened."
"How long will it last?"
"About 1-2 weeks. Even longer for Alex."
I give him a look.
"I know that look in your eye. You are not worried about yourself but are worried for her. The question was mainly for her. And it will take longer for her since she lost 2 people in this one case, the baby and Andrea," Owen says.
I nod my head. It was quite similar to what Harry told me earlier.
Harry walks in.
"Why are you all sulking?" he says in his thick, British accent.
"You think of the devil and he walks in," I mumble.
"Aww, I am so glad that you acknowledged anyone other than Alex's existence!" he teased.
Owen let out a stifled laugh.
"You know, I was waiting for Alabama and Alex's save the date card but looks like I will have to wait for Mikey and Alex's card instead,"  he said, emphasizing on the Mikey.
I rolled my eyes, while Owen let out a laugh.
Isabella runs onto the balcony.
"Mikey, Parvati is calling you!"
"Okay, I got to go," I say to the others. Isabella grabs my hand.
"Bye Daddy!" Harry teases.
Owen starts laughing once again and I roll my eyes. She takes me to Alex's room.
"Hey, Bella said you were looking for me."
"Huh. Right! Umm... I needed your help. Can you help me finish packing. I would ask Shelby but she is too emotional with Ryan being in a coma and I don't trust Owen and Harry with anything. Jocelyn is too busy packing her own stuff leaving you," she asks.
"Sure!"
I grab the suitcase sitting on the side of her bed.
"So, where are you planning on going?"
"Well for now, my moms back in Oakland," she said.
"With Isabella?"
"Yep. We just first need to spend about a week in New York so I can pack everything from my apartment there."
Great I only get a week with her.
We finished packing hers and Isabella's stuff.
The sun was setting down.
"I guess I will see you tomorrow at the airport." she says.
"Yeah. Bye, Alex. Bye, Isabella!"
"Bye Mikey!"
I smiled at that.

The Next Day:

It was 9:00 A.M.

"Mikey! Wake up! Mikey! Mikey! Mikey! Mikey!" Bella said jumping on the bed.
I woke up with a start.
"Oh it's just you, Bella." I say, relaxing my body.
Owen walked in and said, "Better get used to it now! Years from now your own daughter will do that so Isabella is a good practice for you."
"Haha very funny." I said sarcastically.
Alex arrived into the room.
"Morning sleepyhead. You've been sleeping forever. Even a seven year old woke up before you. Anyway, it's time for the airport."
"Wait what! Oh gosh! I forgot to pack my bags." I said. How could I be so forgetful.
"Yeah I noticed! That's why Isabella and I already did them."
"Thanks, Lex. And thank you, Bella!"
""You're welcome, Mikey!" she said standing up on the bed.
Harry pretends to be on a call with someone.
"Yeah, cancel all the events I have for the next month. I have a wedding to attend." Harry pauses. "Whose? Oh my good friend Mikey and Alex."
Alex blushes.
"You really can never shut up can you?" I ask.
He shakes his head.
We all leave the room and grab our bags. Isabella holds my hand while we head out to the car. I have her sit on my lap and gave her my phone so she could play a game and wouldn't get bored.
We boarded the plane. Alex, Bella, and I had seats right next to each other. Isabella fell asleep with 30 minutes. After about an hour, Alex too was getting sleep so I had her rest my head on my shoulder. We both fell asleep.

Okay, y'all maybe wondering why I put this chapter. It has nothing to do with Mia or Luke so why is it here? I needed to introduce Bella to the story. Why Bella needed to enter the story? That you will find out later (I know I say a lot that you will figure somethings out later such as Ryan and Alex arguing, etc.) I decided that I would also kind of continue this story of the past like every other chapter or so( still haven't decided) Don't worry though because Mia and Luke will come back in the next chapter!
