Chapter 7

He leaned closer to me and he kissed my forehead.

I'm blushing so much and I can't even look at him.

"Where do you want to spend your last 3 days stay at Marley?" Zeke asked. He pulled away after he kissed my forehead.

"H-huh?" Why the hell did I say that?! I can't get over that he kissed my forehead!

"I'm asking if where do you want to spend your last 3 days here at Marley?" He repeated his question earlier and he let out a chuckle.

"A-anywhere. I-I'll spend time with y-you... i-if you want." I shyly said and I looked down because my cheeks can't stop from heating.

"Of course, I want that." He said and he smiled.

"Is it okay for you to go to grandpa and grandma tomorrow? So you can say goodbye to them before you leave." Zeke said.

"Yeah, sure, I'd also want to see them before I leave." I agreed to him.

"I'll pick you up tomorrow morning 9:00 am." He said. Smiling. Damn that smile, will I see that smile again?

"Alright." I said and smiling back.

We went silent for a while until I speak up.

"You know, I'm scared... that I may never be able to return here alive." I said to him with a trace of sadness in my voice.

He quickly look at me.

"W-what are you saying? Of course you'll be able to return here alive. I trust you, I know you can do it." He said and he warmly smiled at me to cheer me up, even though he's also scared that you may not be able to return.

"Thank you." That's just the word that I can say to him.

He get up and he offered his hand in me to make me stand and I accept it.

"Promise me, that you'll return here." He said and he form a pinky promise in his fingers.

"Promise." I said and I place my pinky fingers in his.

"This ring will keep our promises." He said and slightly chuckled. I let out a chuckled too.

He took me home and we say goodbye to each other.

I watched him walk away. He looks so huggable.

What in the earth am I thinking? I just let out my thoughts about him run into my mind until I fell asleep.

Marley Government gave us some time to spend our last 2 days here at Marley. Wow, what a nice of them, they're giving us time to have fun.

I remembered that I'll go at Zeke's house later to see his grandparents.

He said that he'll go at my house at 9:00 am, it's still 7:30 am.

I went to my fridge to check if I still have a food. Oh no, I only have one left to cook. I didn't eat breakfast to save the one food left, I will not go to the market anymore because I'll be leaving here in 2 days. It sounds like I will not return here forever. Whatever.

I took a shower and wear a sweatshirt with sweatpants and then I brushed my h/l h/c hair. I wear the ring that Zeke gave to me yesterday.
