Chapter 13

We managed to get back. It was a failed mission. But for us warriors, it's a success.

Many of my comrades died not just because of Annie, also because of pure titans.

Levi is treating my wounds right now. Good thing, I managed to control the fumes of my injured parts.

I don't know why he's doing this for me. Maybe, I'm his friend?

"Can you walk properly?" Levi asks me as he finished treating my wounds.

"Y-yeah." I said. I stuttered because It hurts so damn much, but It'll heal but I'm not letting this to heal yet.

"Why don't you treat yourself first?" I asked him. Because he treated me first before himself.

"It's fine, I'll treat this later." He said putting back again the supplies inside the first aid kit.

"T-thank you for helping me." I said and smiled.

He didn't answered me. I stand up but I can't walk properly because of my legs.

I struggle to reach the door but before I opened it Levi carried me like a bridal style.

"H-hey I can walk." I said. This is literally so awkward I can't even talk properly.

"How many minutes took you to reach the door?" He asked raising his eyebrows on me. His face is close to me.

"U-uhm..." I didn't know what to say. I didn't realize I fell asleep on Levi's shoulder while he's carrying me.

Tomorrow morning

I heard that they are suspecting Annie that she's the female titan. Armin is really a smart guy. I hope Annie can manage to protect herself.

I talked to Reiner and Bertholdt last night about what happened.

"We need to get out of here, Annie might get caught." I said to both of them. I'm sitting beside Reiner in his bed.

"Right, but we didn't get Eren yet." Reiner answered.

"Reiner, the four of us might get killed and we didn't even manage to retake the founder." I said getting a little irritated. Reiner is like this, that's why we ended up here because he still force us to go with the mission even without Marcel.

"I want to reveal our identity sooner." Reiner said.

"And when are you going to do that?" I asked him.

"When the right time comes." He answered.

"Right time? Reiner, we've been spending our 5 years here at this island without a progress." I said. I'm really irritated, Reiner always leads us into danger because of his worst plans.

"Y/N, you just need to trust me, right Bertholdt?" Reiner said.

"Whatever." I said and I walked out in their room.
