It was almost noon and the young mum was sat on the white rug on the middle of her living room floor. Holding her daughters cup of juice whilst the little girl colours away in one of her many books. Today she chose to colour in a field full of trees, bees, bunny rabbits, squirrels and it even had a small stream running all across the width of the page. The smaller girl was humming a small tune to herself as she delicately scribbled on the page with a baby blue crayon. Her mother listed off all of the potential songs the girl could be thinking about and she narrowed it down to Three Little Birds and knew that this was most likely what it actually was. Hayami knew her daughter absolutely adored that song but the reason was unknown. Whenever they would get in the car that one specific song was played at least five times before they arrived at their destination and Hayami didn't mind one single bit.

For breakfast this morning they each had a bowl of cereal and some activities to do whilst they were eating. Mitsuko was fiddling around with the ears of her favourite teddy. It was a bunny astronaut from build-a-bear that was kitted out with a helmet and ray gun. Hayami had revived that bunny at her baby shower and it was the first cuddly toy Mitsuko ever got, hence why she has bonded to it so much. Strangely enough though she called the toy bubbles which has no relation to space what so ever but it was adorable nonetheless. Meanwhile, Hayami was multitasking between eating and texting Bokuto on her phone. They had another lesson arranged for today and they were just checking over times and if he should bring anything over. They had decided to meet at noon or just past to give him time to get to the comfortably sized apartment and sure enough the sound of the door bell ringing occurred at five minutes past noon.

"Who's that mummy?" Mitsuko asks without removing her attention from her page, her tongue was even protruding from the left corner of her mouth slightly just from how much she was concentrating. Her mother chuckles lightly before standing up and ruffling her daughters hair.

"It's most likely Bokuto so you can keep colouring for a little bit longer okay?" Mitsuko makes a small 'mhm' sound as her mother's footsteps get quieter and quieter the closer she gets to the front door. After putting the cup of juice on the kitchen island of course.

I bounce on my feet for the last step before pushing the speaker button and asking who it was. Bokuto being Bokuto, boomed his voice through the speaker and made me think that he had actually broke it but luckily he didn't and his overload of energy never fails to cheer me up. Even if I've only known him for a short while. However, I don't think he heard me ask who it was so I had to ask again.
