Chapter 1: At my planet

Earth is one of the planets that are rich in water, food, and many life resources. It's my home.

I have my own house in the middle of grassland and not far from here is a beautiful lake that I always go on to walk. Sometimes, I swim in it. It's the perfect place for me.

I woke up six am this morning like I usually do to begin my chores at this house. It's not exactly big but it's not small either. I could say that it's the perfect size for me. It has a second floor, what more could I ask for.

I have no parents nor siblings, I lived my own life with no help from others. Sure, I got my education by working hard but I after graduated, I started my own life.

I got used to my life as an independent woman to the point that I don't need to ask help from others.

I brewed my own coffee by growing my own beans from my own garden. After I drank my coffee, I started cooking breakfast for myself. A big breakfast because I know I'll be going on my walk and swim in the lake.

After eating my breakfast, I then put on a hat and wore my shoes. I walked out of my house and started walking towards that road that heads to the lake.

After walking for 30 minutes, I noticed something strange as I get closer to the lake. The leaves of the trees that surrounds the lake have fallen.

As I get closer, I then saw a machine. I walked slowly to its direction. I looked at it first, there are words that I couldn't understand. The machine wasn't that big, it was at least four feet tall. I knew because I'm five foot six tall.

I touched that screen and then somehow that machine started slowly opening. There, I saw a bright light shining towards my eyes. I had to close them and slowly opened my eyes to see what was inside.

It looked like a fruit, a really small one. I touched it and it looked like a grape. I smelled it and it really doesn't looks that harmful.

So I took a bite and it was just a normal taste for a grape. I then ate it whole after taking a bite. After a few minutes, nothing really happened. I guess it was just a fruit. It's weird though because why was the grape inside a machine.

I then started to feel my hair was being blown by the wind, but it wasn't any ordinary wind. It has too much force to be an ordinary wind.

I saw a cloud with lightning surrounding it. At the middle of that circle cloud, it was pitch black. Then, a hand came out. I was scared, I couldn't ran away from the circle of clouds with lightning that a hand came out from.

After the hand, slowly a body came out right after it. And soon came out a face, then the circle with clouds vanished after the person came out. I'm not sure if it's a person though. He was huge and somehow has purple skin.

He started walking slowly at my direction. His eyes never leaving mine. I just stand still, I feel like I can't move. I find his presence very frightening.

"You, a human." He started talking with a deep and husky voice. I gulped and couldn't answer him.

He looked around and saw the machine.

"You opened it?" He asked. Again, I couldn't answer but I nodded at his question.

"Where's the fruit inside?" He questioned me once again. I opened my mouth but no words came out of it.

"Did you perhaps ate it?" He asked once again and I nodded as a response to his question. I realized that I never should've ate that grape.

"Do you know, how important that fruit is? It's the fruit of everlasting life." I somehow gulped at his words. Everlasting life? Doesn't that mean I'm immortal?

"I-I, uhm, I d-didn't know..." I stuttered at my words. I still couldn't move from my spot.

He then walked closer to me and looked at me.

"You're coming with me." He said and then the circle came back again. I know now that it's a portal. He then looked at me as if ordering me to walk to the portal but I just couldn't move.

He was confused and noticed that I couldn't move from where I was standing.

"Are you afraid of me?" He asked and I lowered my head, not looking at him. I don't know if this emotions that I'm feeling is scared.

He then carried me as if I was a light weight bag for him. He carried me like a bag of rice that you just put on your shoulder.

He then walked towards the portal and I saw a unfamiliar place. I could see the stars in the sky, I thought I wouldn't be able to breathe but I breathe easily, as if I'm still on earth.

The moon was very visible and so close unlike the moon on earth. I looked around and the place was like a deserted planet.

I have so many questions in my mind but I know I couldn't ask them. I feel like my mouth is shut tight.

We reached at a really big gate, and it opened. He was still carrying me, I could see the guards looking at us. They were nothing like I have ever seen at. All of them were scary-looking. I couldn't make eye contact with them.

Soon after, we reached a room. There were two people inside when we entered. It was a very big room. He then dropped me on the floor. His drop hurts like hell. I stood up and saw him sitting on a big chair.

"What's your name?" He asked but I looked at the two people inside the room. They are two women, one has the skin color of green and the other one has the skin color of blue.

"What is your name?" He asked again but louder and slowly this time. I then looked at him in the eyes.

"Akki. Akki Vermillion." I answered.

"Where's the fruit? You said you'd get it yourself, father." The blue lady suddenly talked.

"I did." He answered. So he has two children but they don't really looks like him. The blue girl looks like a half machine and the other green one doesn't really resembles him.

"What do you mean, father? You brought a human, not a fruit. She looks like in her middle twenties and–" She got cut off by the purple man. He just raised his hand and the blue girl just stopped talking.

"Don't you think that's a little mean?" I thought I whispered to myself but I didn't meant it to be so loud.

"Mean? I don't this so, human." He said. I then didn't talked back anymore.

"That person, Akki, ate the fruit." He continued. The two women has their jaw dropped open. They were shocked.

"Uhm, I didn't mean to. I didn't know it was the fruit of being an immortal being. If I knew, I wouldn't have eaten it." I explained my side.

"Leave us." He ordered the two ladies to leave and they didn't hesitate to leave the room.

After they left the room, he got up from his throne and slowly walked down towards me.

"You." He said and he stopped right in front of me, just a few inches away. I could feel his breath. I realized he was so huge, maybe 9 feet tall.

"You're strong." He continued. I felt this feeling again, I don't what it is. I just met this person.

"You'll have to stay until I can find an answer how to get that fruit off of you, one way or another." He said.
