Thanos and Me [Thanos × OC]

Chapter 11: In the hallway

"Stop drinking, Akki. You have already drank more than twenty bottles. How many bottles did she drank, Jax?" I could hear Sorlin speaking and asked Jax a question.

"About twenty-seven bottles. I've never seen a customer drank that much, most of them only handled about three to four bottles. That scotch which Akki drank was strong, even stronger than Doùlax." Jax answered his question. I sighed and my head was starting to feel dizzy, whenever I felt that dizziness, I just want to sleep.

"I'll stop. I'll be heading out first." I said and stood up. I can still walk straight.

"Need any help?" Jax asked but I shaked my hand saying no and then headed out to my ship. I entered my ship and prepared to take off. I can still drive.

I took off when the engine got warm enough and then traveled for miles. After a few minutes, my head was starting to get really dizzy and it was starting to get hurt.

"Ugh, my head." I said to myself and massaged it a little using my left hand while my right hand was steering the wheel of the ship.

I speeded up to get to my bed faster. I can't hold out the pain that long. It's starting to get hurt much more than a few minutes ago.

Ater a while, I could see the familiar planet. I tried to land safely but with my head getting really dizzy, it was a little bit hard landing perfectly.

I at least landed the ship. I got off the ship and started walking. I saw Ebony just right outside the ship.

"My lady." He greeted me and my vision was starting to get a little blurry but I saw a big, purple form beside him and I know that form anywhere.

"Squidward and big grape. And I even wished for just a little peace and quiet." I said and stopped at my tracks. Gamora and Nebula soon walked in and stood there behind their father.

"What?" I asked them.

"Did you perhaps drink, my lady?" Ebony asked me. I guess they could smell that was coming off of me.

"Ah, that I did. Yes, I drank enough to get me to feel sleepy. Well now, if I may be excused." I started walking but it was hard since my direction wasn't that straight. I bumped into a wall and it hit me in my right shoulder.

"Ah." I said and touched my arm. That's gonna leave a bruise in the morning. I started walking again and bumped into another wall. My head was dizzy and my vision was getting blurry and blurry.

"You know what. I think I'll be here for a while. Why don't you guys just go on your way and do your things." I said and sat down on the floor. My back facing the wall and I closed my eyes. This feels nice, I can finally sleep.

I heard footsteps coming closer towards me and when I opened my eyes, there he was, standing in front of me. Thanos.

He only stared at me for a while and then kneeled down to face me. I couldn't looked away from his eyes. He moved his arms to carry me which I didn't tried to stop him.

My eyes were starting to feel heavy and so I closed my eyes, he was carrying me in his arms. It felt so comfortable. The pain in my head was starting to go away as Thanos started walking.

"Prepare her a breakfast and no training tomorrow." I heard him order the people around him. He is the almighty Thanos. I couldn't budge and started to fell asleep.

I woke up and felt this incredible pain in my head, a hangover probably. I slowly opened my eyes and looked around the room, it was familiar but it wasn't my room. It was huge and just then I remembered this is Thanos's room.

If this is Thanos's room and where is he? I sat up to look around his quarters but somehow I got this feeling of disappointment when I didn't see him in his own room.

"Letting me sleep in his own room and he's not even here when I woke up. He keeps sending me mixed signals. I'm not falling for it." I said to myself. I stood up and walked to the door that leads outside his quarters. When I opened the door, two women was in front of me.  They are the maids he got for me back then when it was just only one week of training. I got bruises back then and couldn't really help myself.

"My lady." Both of them was surprised when I opened the door, one was carrying a basin with clean water and the other one was a carrying a sponge and towel.

"My lord told us to help you bathe with warm water to your liking." One of the maids spoke while both of them were bowing their heads. I sighed and took the basin and placed it on the floor. I grabbed the sponge and towel from the maid.

"Can you two look out and tell me if someone's coming? I don't want to be naked when someone walks in." I asked them to stay outside and the two of them nodded their heads and I closed the door. I started getting undressed.

This feels weird, undressing in Thanos's chambers. After undressing, I folded my clothes and put it on top of Thanos's bed. I grabbed the sponge and made it soak a little on the warm water before letting it touch my skin. I started with my face then slowly down to my neck and then the arms.

I washed my hands, legs, and almost every part of my body except my hair. When I was done bathing myself, I grabbed the towel to dry myself and then stood up.

"My lord, my lady is inside doing something that you have told us." I heard one of the maids' voices. I walked closer to the door.

"Didn't I ordered both of you to help her bathe? Why are you two standing outside doing nothing?" I heard Thanos's voice just outside talking to the maids. I guess it's not really talking but more on reprimanding them.

I quickly put on my clothes and went to open the door.

"Ah, thank you ladies for looking out when I was bathing myself. You don't know if there would be someone to open the door when you're undressed in a room. I appreciated the thoughtful action." I quickly saved them from Thanos's scolding.

"You girls can leave now. I want to talk to Thanos alone, if that's okay with both of you?" I said to them and they nodded first before leaving.

"Don't be so harsh on them. I asked them to stay outside." I glared at him when I spoke. I left him standing there before he could even speak. I need to avoid him as much as possible.

"Akki." He called out my name. I stopped at my tracks and just when I was close at the end of the hallway. Just a few more steps and I would have been gone already.

"Akki..." He called out my name once again. This time, the way he called out my name, there was a little bit of empathy in his voice. As if he wants to talk to me eye to eye.

So the talk that I have been avoiding for this past three weeks has finally come, huh?
