Thanos and Me [Thanos × OC]

Chapter 9: Training ground

It has already been three weeks since I have been training by Gamora and Nebula. I already learned how to be quick and witty at a battlefield. I thought training would be hard but somehow, I'm learning the techniques quite easily. I was able to defeat Gamora and Nebula one on one but I have never tried to defeat them both together.

I know it is already been three weeks on earth because I asked Ebony what time is on earth back when I first started training. Since then, I've been counting the days.

The past three weeks, I have been continuously avoiding Thanos. Whenever he looks at me, I always tried to avoid my gaze at him. Whenever he wants to speak to me, I'll always have excuses so I won't be able to talk to him.

If I keep doing this, the feelings I have for him will eventually be gone.

"Alright, Akki. Me and my sister will join together and attack you." Nebula spoke all of a sudden. I guess I was spacing out again.

"Yeah, yeah. Sure." I said and prepared myself. Focus, Akki. Focus.

Gamora was in front of me while Nebula was walking behind me. Soon after, Nebula first started to move behind me. I dodged her kick and then Gamora went to look for an opening which I made her think that I have one. I then attacked Gamora first before she even landed a punch on me.

The two of them didn't stop to continuously attack me. I dodged each and every attack of theirs and always countered attack back at them.

I noticed Thanos came at the training ground. He was watching his two daughters and me, at his side was one of his underlings, Ebony Maw.

While I was distracted, Nebula managed to strike me with her hidden knife which I barely avoided. There was now a little bit of wound in my hand. I back up for a second and touched the wound where Nebula attacked.

"I never thought you would be rude. I was only looking at the visitor." I said and smirked at both of them.

"It's not my fault you got distracted." Nebula talked back and then went to charge in front of me. I only waited for her and then took the opportunity to took her down, which I did.

Nebula groaned in pain.

"It's not painful, get up. I have to deal with the green one." I said and let out my hand which she reached for it and I helped her stood up. She walked away from us to join with her father. I couldn't help but look at Thanos and I saw him talking to his daughter, Nebula.

I wonder what they are talking about.

"You have some nerve to avoid your eyes on me, Akki." Gamora sneaked up on me and was about to kick me with her left foot but I dodged it just in time. I ran fast to get behind her back and then grabbed her neck and pointed it with a knife that was on my right leg.

"If he wasn't here, you would have been on the ground defeated way earlier." I said to her and let her go. I stretched my back and placed my knife back at my right leg. Gamora was breathing heavily.

"Thanos must be a big impact you. You were never that slow during our training. Within maybe five minutes, I would have already been defeated by you. It took you seven minutes today and if you add the time you defeated Nebula...about 12 minutes." I shrugged at her. I let down my hair naturally when I took off the tie.

"If it weren't for his huge body, I would have moved on already." I laughed and Gamora only rolled her eyes and then chuckled.

"I can say that I noticed him flexing his arms always whenever you are around." I blushed by the sudden comment of Gamora about Thanos. No, Akki, stop. We are trying to move on. Stop thinking about that Thanos may have feelings for you because there isn't.

"It must be fun teasing me." I said and turned around to smirk at Gamora. She looks at me with a confused face at first then realized that I meant the idiot she fell in love with. I walked closer to her so I can tease her.

"What was his name again? You know when I was looking for you while you were doing your mission then I accidentally saw you two together." I whispered to her.

"Ah, Peter Quill." I said. I know I couldn't hold back my laughter anymore so I burst out laughing. I was laughing so hard to the point my knees went weak and my back was now facing the floor.

"Oh god, Gamora. I can't stop laughing!" I said while laughing so loud. I was rolling on the floor and my eyes went teary and rolled down on my cheek. My stomach was slowly getting hurt but I couldn't stop laughing.

Gamora only stared at me. So did Nebula, Ebony Maw, and Thanos. I saw Gamora smiled a little bit for just a second and that made me laugh even harder.

They only watched me until I was finish laughing. When my laughter slowly fade, I sat first on the floor and gasped for air to calm down.

I wiped my tears and then stood up. I looked around the training ground and they were all looking at me. Nebula who's holding her laugh all this time.

"I'll get going first." I said to Gamora and started walking towards the exit which Thanos and Ebony Maw entered at. Why does this room only has one gate. When I was getting closer to them, I opened my mouth.

"I'm going. You coming, Nebula?" I asked her while I was coming towards the gate.

"Me and Gamora has something to discuss, we'll catch up later." I nodded and already walked past Thanos. Ebony who was behind Thanos, I stopped at my tracks.

"Why hello there, squidward. Where did you hid my ship this time?" I have this tendency to just drive sometimes without knowing where I'm going. However, sometimes I just like to go galavanting out in the galaxy, meeting up with people who I never knew. That's why Thanos made sure Ebony would hide my ship so I can't go out.

"I deeply apologize, my lady. I cannot tell you." He bowed before me. I hate it whenever he does that.

"Fine. I'll find it anyways, like always." I smirked and Ebony just face palm himself.

I looked around the big place really carefully for about thirty minutes and soon enough, I found it.

"They are really trying hard to keep me here in this planet. I don't want to see Thanos every day." I can't believe it's already one month but I haven't been able to erase my feelings for him. I can't do this for eternity.

I got into my ship and prepared the engine. I got to my chair and then started heading out. After the engine was warm enough, I drove off.

"Stupid big ass grape." I whispered to myself. There were times that I thought of never going back to him but I just couldn't leave. Sure, I wouldn't come back for days but at the end of the day, I'll still come back to his stupid planet.

"Making me feel like crap all the time. Even his stupid, weird aliens beside him keeps telling me that they have never seen Thanos like that whenever I'm around. Giving me hope that maybe Thanos might like me. It's all bullshit." My head was starting to get angry every time I thought about it. I could feel my blood boiling through my body.

"I need a drink." I said to myself and went to a different direction from where I was heading.

"To planet where the good drinks are." I said and then I speeded up the engine more.
