A bunny toothed grin he had seen more times than he cared to count. Dark locks of hair falling over black eyes that twinkled with happiness every time he came into view. The eyes he had stared into so many times when he had nothing to do. A face with a texture like porcelain he had trailed a gentle finger over many a time. A small scar over the right cheekbone he had brushed his soft lips over just because he could. A person he had loved more than anything in the world.  A person he had spent all his time with at one time. A person who was no longer there in his memories. A person he thought of in all his waking hours and dreamt about in all his sleeping ones.

A person who was now nothing more than a hazy, blurry smudge in his mind.

Taehyung's grey eyes shot open.

Someone was shaking him by the shoulders. "Yo, Kim! You okay?" Jeongguk's cry came through to him.

"Y-yeah. Yeah I'm okay," he replied, his voice breaking. Taehyung jerked his head, trying to shake the image of that face from his mind. It seemed so familiar. But he just couldn't remember who it was, however much he strained his mind to.

The sunlight streaming in through the flowy curtains was blinding. Everything seemed too bright for his eyes and his head hurt.
"Never mind, l-let's just - let's just go," Taehyung said, stepping forward and knocking on the mahogany door before entering.

Jeongguk frowned slightly, confused, before following.

Through the entire meeting, Taehyung felt fidgety.

He felt hot all over and there were constant spikes of pain in his stomach.

Even after taking off his blazer, opening the first two buttons of his shirt and loosening his tie, he felt his body temperature increasing continually. His head throbbed with a dull feeling and he felt like flipping the long table over, swearing at all the suit-wearing men, flipping his middle finger to all of them and then marching out.

All the people talking together sounded like a monotonous hum in his head. It sounded like the buzzing of an irritating fly that refused to leave.

The feeling that he could actually be friends with Jeongguk instead of fight with him all the time was gone.

Now the only feeling he felt towards the bratty and cocky true-blood was hatred and irritation. Taehyung could feel the boy's eyes flit towards him time to time and he felt annoyance run through him every time.

Meanwhile, Jeongguk could tell that something was wrong. Taehyung had been on edge, restless from the time they entered the room and sat down.

And then the older boy took on an expression that seemed like he would kill anyone who talked to him. His jaw was clenched and he was sweating profusely. The way his chest moved looked like he was breathless for some reason too. Every once in a while his tongue would dart out to run over his lips and his mouth would part, small, almost unnoticeable pants leaving him.

Jeongguk found it both intimidating and hot.

What the fuck.

A disgusted expression marred his expression and he shook the sudden thought out of his mind.
