Chapter 2 - New Friends :)

A/N ~ I'll be switching between Skyler and Tyler's POV every other chapter and then every once in a while one of the chapters will include other character's POV.

Skyler's POV

Tyler and I finally find our first period; AP US History (AN~ Or as I like to call it: APUSH XD). It was a little early and still 10 minutes until class started so there was only a few kids in the classroom. The teacher was there so we walked up to her. She looked around mid-30s and was wearing pink rimmed glasses. She looked up at us once we reached her desk and smiled.

"Hello. My name is Miss Loving. You two are the new kids right?"

We both smiled at her then nodded.

"Alright go ahead and take a seat in the back. There should be two seats available by the window. What's your names?"

"I'm Tyler Valdez and this is my sister Skyler." I gave her a small wave then smiled again. She looked at me and gave me a soft smile. I knew I was going to like this teacher.

"Nice to meet you."

We walked to the back of the classroom and sat down at the desks by the window. Once we had our notebooks out we turned to each other to wait for class to begin.

"You excited for next period?" We had art next period. We're both really artistic and share a love for art.

I gave him a huge smile and nodded. He smiled back. "Let's hope nothing bad happens today. And remember, stick together." We did our twin handshake where we do a hand hug, then a fist bump twice and lastly, the original handshake greeting. We made this handshake when we were 7. It's been one of our many twin things that no one else understands.

The bell rings and soon more students start piling in the classroom. There's an empty seat next to me so I'm stuck wondering whose going to sit next to me. I would be lying if I said I wasn't nervous to meet new people this year.

I'm doodling in my notebook when I hear the chair next to me. I look up and see a girl with shoulder length brown hair with blonde highlights. She looked at me and smiled. She had icy blue eyes which were stunning. She was wearing a yellow plaid crop top with a pair of jeans and a flannel.

"Hey. You're new right?" She asked me. I nervously smiled at her then said, "Yeah."

"I'm Hailey. What's yours?"

I smiled at her name. "Skyler."

"Cool. What's your next period?"

"Advanced Art. What's yours?"

"Same as you!" She smiled brightly. I couldn't help but give her a huge smile. She seemed really nice.

"Cool!"

The late bell rang. Miss Loving stood up. "Good morning class. We have two new students. Why don't you two stand up and introduce yourselves."

I looked at Tyler and he shrugged then stood up as I did.

"H-hi I'm Skyler Valdez." I awkwardly waved then sat down.

"I'm Tyler Valdez." He smiled then sat down.

"Alright welcome to Eastwood High. That being said, let's get started on our notes."

We took notes the whole period. Some may say that's boring but me and Tyler don't think so.
