chapter 12 - the new house

A/N ~ Hey guys! Hope you like this chapter! I'm sorry in advance about my bad descriptions! 

Above is a picture of Kai and Yasmin's house except the whole exterior is marble white. 

I just want to give everyone a heads up. I might not be updating as often as you hope I'd be. Like, I'll prolly be updating every other day or possibly every 2 days. The reason why is school. I'm in my last 6 weeks of junior year and I gotta push myself to bring my grades up. But I will try my best to update every other day.

Skyler's POV

(A/N ~ this is where my description gets bad. cringe all you want. I know I'm cringing.) We pulled up to a big, marble white house. The outside was beautiful and I could only imagine how it looked inside. 

There was a pool right in front of the house. There were a few lawn chairs sitting close to the pool as well as a colorful umbrella in between two of the chairs. 

The house looked to be two stories. I couldn't see the garage so I was guessing it was in the back because the area Kai parked at was underneath a set of stairs that leads up to the upstairs patio. 

There were sliding glass doors in the front and you could see inside the house clearly. It looked to be the living room. 

Tyler parked right in front of the house before we got out of the truck and met up with Kai in front of his car. 

"I texted Yasmin to let her know you're here. She's gonna show you around the house then take you to your rooms while I grab all your bags. Sound good?" Kai says as he opens the back door of his car. 

We both nod before he says, "You can go ahead and walk up to the door. She'll be there any minute." 

Tyler and I didn't even walk 5 steps before being engulfed in a group hug. I stand still, shocked, for a minute before hugging Yasmin back. Tyler does the same. 

She pulls back and smiles down at us. "I'm so happy to have you guys here! Let me show you around before taking you to your rooms. Marley is asleep in my room so once you guys get situated, either one of you can take her up to your room." She says as she walks us into the house. 

We walk inside and I'm immediately feeling the home vibes. We walk down the short hallway that leads from the front door to the small area in between the living room and kitchen. 

I could immediately tell that their favorite color was white since almost everything here was white. The couch and love seat in the living room were a cream white while the rug in the middle of the living room was a vanilla white. 

There was a light grey coffee table in front of the couch. The TV, of course, was black and attached to the wall. There was a small green plant in one of the corners of the room. 

Next, Yasmin showed us the kitchen. Everything was a mix of cream, vanilla, and clean white. There was a large island in the middle of the kitchen that was a marble white with a few grey designs. There was 4 beige stools sitting around the island. The dining room was separated from the kitchen by a sliding door. 

The table was large enough to fit 10 people which surprised me since it was only Yasmin and Kai living here. 

After a tour of the living room, kitchen, dining room, the back patio, downstairs guest bedroom and bathroom, and their room, Yasmin finally started leading us upstairs.
