The Christmas holidays had rolled around, and despite only being at Hogwarts for three months, Halle knew it was where she was meant to be. Hogwarts was where her friends were, Hogwarts was her safe place and she just hoped that the holidays would go quickly and smoothly so that she could be back there as soon as possible.

The night of their last full day at Hogwarts, Halle was sitting in the common room, surrounded by her friends.

"Quidditch is quite literally, my life," announced Lucas, who had been silently flicking through a quidditch magazine. "How the hell do you live without it?" He asked Halle and Jasmine; neither of them played.

"Just because you're obsessed with it! I mean, I thought Oliver Wood was bad!" Laughed Dean, who was playing exploding snap with Hermione.

"Oliver had the right mindset! Like, come on....eat sleep quidditch repeat!"

"Who's Oliver?" Halle asked.

"He used to be a few years older than us at Hogwarts, he was the quidditch captain for as long as I can remember." Ron explained from beside her, "he was a right quidditch lover. All he ever spoke about was quidditch, it was such an obsession!"

"Have you ever played quidditch at all?" Charlotte asked the two girls.

"I've never even ridden a broom," Halle told them, smiling slightly at their shocked expressions.

"I have a few times, I just don't have much interest," Jasmine shrugged.

"We'll have to have a big game some time! Everyone should be allowed to play quidditch, I mean it's literally quidditch!" Cried Harry, outraged at the idea of someone's quiditch life being limited.

He was raised by James Potter, of course.

"Its alright," Halle chuckled. "I've never had much interest either, I'm scared of heights."

"You're crazy," sighed Charlotte, "I want to be a professional quidditch player after Hogwarts."

"And you'd be amazing at it," Harry smiled, and Ron pulled a face.

"Ever since you two have been...friends again, I've wanted to throw myself off of the astronomy tower, I swear," Ron told them.

"How long were you actually broken up for? I swear, my memories are so jumbled at the moment, it's weird!" Jasmine asked curiously.

"A few months, kind of," Charlotte shrugged, and she didn't continue speaking, confusing both Halle, and Jasmine. There was something they weren't telling them, and Halle wanted to get to the bottom of it.
