"Gone, fled!" Exclaimed Fudge, turning to Halle "You! Do you know where they would go?"

Halle sat thoughtful for a moment, "they own lots of land and houses...they also know lots of people, so they could be anywhere really..."

Sirius looked ready to kill, as did James who was plotting which way was best to throw someone off the astronomy tower.

"They must've read the Daily Profit and...left," Emelia shook her head in disbelief, she wanted all of this drama to go away, though she knew the truth, this was only going to be the beginning of things.

"I haven't been with them all week," shrugged Halle, subconsciously fiddling with the sleeves of her robes, which covered her bruised skin. This didn't go unnoticed by Sirius and he made a mental note to check up on her when he could.

"So you have no idea? Is there any way you could just contact them?"

"No," Sirius replied sternly.

"Sorry, Mr Black, but I was actually talking to your daughter, not you." Cornelius snarled.

"And I said no!" He repeated, although a small smile formed on his face at the word daughter. She really was back.

"But if she could just simply find out where they are it would help-"

"Perhaps," Dumbledore interrupted. "We could find another way? For now, I feel my students should be getting to bed, it is late, Mr Fudge."

"This is a waste of my time!" Whined Fudge.

"No it's not! Stop focusing on yourself for one minute!" Argued James.

"James!" Lily snapped.

"Dumbledore, maybe we should go..."

"Yes, Mrs Black, goodnight to you all, and welcome back to your family, Miss Black," he waved, and with that everyone left.

"Hey," Sirius turned to his two children. "Come with me."

Sirius then turned to James, whispering quietly until the Potters quietly left, leaving the Black's to chat properly as a family.

Family

Everything was new to Halle. She wasn't used to the idea of a family, nor was she used to even having proper parents, it seemed strange to her and she wasn't sure what she was meant to do. Sure, she had her memories from years ago, but these people were like strangers now, she barely knew them even if they are close friends!
