Caught Pt. 2

Chris P.O.V

I watched as they dragged her away crying. I can't even begin to describe how much it hurt me to see her crying out for me, but we both knew I couldn't do anything. I was outnumbered, and they wouldn't hesitate to kill me. I couldn't do anything except watch them drive off with her. 

'I'm sorry young blood.'

'You knew this shit was gone happen?!' I was pissed.

'Why didn't you tell me?!'

'We couldn't interfere without changing everything. She was supposed to say no to running away with you so all of this could have been avoided.'

'Man that's some bullshit! Do you know what you've done to us, to her specifically?' He literally just took all of her freedom away from, they're gonna send her back to that school, and she's told me how they are. Nobody knows about what them dudes try to do to her.

'I'm sorry ki...'

'Man fuck that! Just stay the fuck out my life, you and my aunt y'all have fucked up our lives enough. You're on your own with this damn quest, journey, or whatever the fuck it is! Find your own damn killer!' The faint sound of him calling my name finally ends leaving me with nothing, but my own thoughts, and a hole in my heart. I drive down the road headed to Robyn's place. She opened the door not asking any questions, just hugging me. I stayed in her arms for hours before she broke the silence.

"What happened?"

"They found us, took her right out of my arms, Robyn I can still hear her cries for me. I couldn't fight back I was outnumbered. It was either die fighting, and they take her, or live and let them take her."

"It'll be okay." She cradled my head in her neck.

"No Rob, they're gonna send her back to her old school, from what she's told me it's not a safe place for her. They've tried to take advantage of her, and I'm not there to protect her." I swore I'd never let her go, and I did. I let her down, I'm so sorry Zah. I don't even think I'm gonna make it without her. They didn't just take her from me, they took apart of me. Man I don't even know, wait yes I do. I got off the floor.

"He's dead!" I stormed out of Robyn's place after saying bye to her mom. I ignored Robyn's calling of my name. I gripped the steering wheel in anger feeling all the blood leave my knuckles when I got to my destination. I rapped on the door a few times. As soon as the door opened I snatched him up by his neck.

"You! You couldn't get her back so you just had to fuck up her life?!"

"Man I don't know what the fuck you talking about."

"You're the one that knew we were together, I know you told them."

"I'm gonna tell you like I told her I didn't do shit. She wanna be a traitor and turn on the family then let her bitch ass do it." I punched him with no hesitation, in seconds I was on him delivering blows to his face. I pulled him up by his shirt staring into his bloody face.

"Disrespect her again, and I'll kill your ass."

"Man fuck you, took the only thing I care about." I laughed.

"You don't care about her. You cared about her body. If you did you'd realize what you've done." I know it seems like I'm making it a big deal because Zah's strong, but, from what she told me about that school she needs more than strength.
