False alarm

The sun once told me to smile widely, told me to be happy, to be delighted

and be set free

The rain, the clouds told me to be new, to start over, to write a new future

because you said so

Cheerful, grateful and faithful, you bailed me out  of the exile and took me miles away

to a fresh desert, a fresh island

The night, the stars once told me to stop the thinking and start the searching, for someone

that could be you

The sunrise, the sunset once told me to love you hardly to make you happy, my lover

because you are here now

Cheerful, grateful and faithful, you bailed me out the exile and took me miles away to a fresh desert, a fresh island

because you are my lover

And then I woke up...

It's said that nightmares always come with a terrifying sight; blood, murder, hatred, weakness, evil.. But for me, I wished mine were like that, I dreamed about us every night what if we were together without your lies or your games. That could be the worst nightmare ever, trying to forget somebody but then they show up in your dreams as the hero knowing that they are just the lion who hurt the lamb

your lamb

you are the lamb

I was praying for a new future with you although I knew that this will never change, you will never change, you were sent to hurt me, sent from the evils' land to the gods' land, trying to destroy my kingdom but it was sleeping and my cage never opened for you

My conscience knew

that

all of this

was just

a false alarm.
