Tradgedic Encounter

Kuroki was in her new home. It looked exactly like the one she used to have in her old town, but this one was next to the ocean.

Everyday, she would try to get the incident out of her mind by painting, but alas, it haunts her.
And now, revenge is all she cares about.
She wanted to get stronger as much as she could; however the idea to eat the Devil Fruit that she carries around didn't really interest her.

She looked out at the ocean.
"Huh..."
There was a huge, well-built ship.
"What's that?"
She tilted her head, seeing a little lion-looking-figure on the mast. She stepped to the shore, putting her paint brush down.

The ship drew closer and closer, and finally, anchored on the beach.
Kuroki knew who they were;

The Strawhat Pirates.

She stepped back as she watched a young woman with fair skin and black hair come down.
The woman looked at her.

"Oh, why hello miss."
Kuroki glared at her and whinced, stepping back.
"Stay away!!"
"Hm? Why?"
"You know why, you damn murderers..."
"Murders? ...Do you mean pirates?"
"Same thing!"
"Oh, but miss," the woman stepped forward. "We're a different kind of pirate crew. Right, everyone?"

As she finished her sentence, 8 other people stepped down.
One had weird, mossy green hair.
Another was... A racoon?
And another was a girl with orange hair.
Another had blonde hair with a cigarette in his mouth.
Another was a big, robot-looking person.
Another looked normal, except for a huge nose.
Another was a skeleton with an Afro,
And another was the captain, Monkey D. Luffy.

"STAY AWAY, YOU PIRATES!!"
Kuroki screamed and started to attack the crew.
"Hey hey, easy!" The long nosed one said.
"Don't command to me, long-nose!" She was frustrated.
She kicked the skeleton, which didn't fall.
She punched the Raven haired girl, and she dodged it.
Now, Kuroki was really, really mad.

She took out the devil fruit, and ate it in two bites.

The crew seemed shocked, and they stepped back.
Kuroki made a little hand motion.
"Color-Color! Boil!" The atmosphere started getting hot.
"Ughhhh... It's so hot, Sanji..." The racoon-animal muttered.

"STOP!!"
The captain flung over to her, and grabbed her shoulders.
Kuroki wanted to keep going, but her body stopped at his words.
'Why isn't my body moving?!' She thought.

"Calm down!" He soothed her emotions.

Kuroki stared up.
What had she just done? What was that power?
