| KFC | Diluc X reader (AU)

You and your friends are going to be hanging out together for lunch at a nearby KFC. You heard about your favourite game collabing with KFC so of course you're gonna go check it out. So far only you Lumine, Aether and Jean were here. Lisa was busy today and so was Diluc. Who knows where Kaeya and Amber are at.

After some time the two arrived. One overslept and the other forgot(I'll let you decide on that). Once all of you were ready, you all started walking to the KFC closest to all of you. To your surprise, there wasn't as many people here as you thought. Once all of you entered, a familiar voice welcomed you all in. "My, my. If it isn't the one and only Diluc. Never knew you work at a KFC." Kaeya smugly stated. Diluc just looked at him irritated. Who would have thought that the son of the owner of the famous wine company would work part time at KFC. "What would you like to order." Diluc said. You were looking at the menu when you heard from behind you. "I want some chicken nuggies." Aether mumbled to his sister. You turned around and see Lumine face palming herself. Jean was giggling at the two.

Once all ordered their food, which took quite a while because of Kaeya and Diluc fighting each other, you found a nice spot to sit everyone. The table was enough for the 6 of you, three on each side. Lumine, Aether and Amber sitting at one side while you, Jean and Kaeya sat at the other. Jean and Kaeya were your seniors while the rest was the same age as you. "Hello! This is your order!" A feminine voice said. You recognized this voice. It was Noelle serving you all your food. Noelle was a very neat girl in your class. She is rather quiet but when one needs the help she is ready to give her assistance. "Thank you Noelle!" Lumine said happily. Noelle smiled and walked back to the counter to get the remaining orders.

You all enjoyed your meal and decided to hang around a little more. You all talk about various topics such as the game that is collabing with KFC. Sadly the table you sat at didn't had a sticker pasted on it. Lumine wanted to take a picture beside the red haired male cutout. You followed her and helped her take a picture and she did the same for you. You took a pic with both the red haired male and the grey haired female. You and Lumine both giggling happily at the pictures that you both took.

It was about evening time and you all decided to leave. Everyone went back their own ways. Lumine and Aether wanted to watch a movie together, Amber decided to go get some groceries with Jean before leaving and Kaeya drove home. It was still bright out for you to walk home. "(Y/N)." You heard your name being called and you turned around. "Oh Diluc, hello!" You replied smiling at him. "I'm almost done with my shift. I see that Kaeya wasn't kind enough to drive you home." Diluc continued. You shook your head and told him it was alright. "Just wait for a bit. I'll walk you home." Diluc said and left back into the restaurant to change into his normal clothes.

It wasn't long till Diluc walked out of the restaurant wearing his usual attire. A white shirt with a black jacket and some black jeans. "Let's go." Diluc said and started walking. You quickly caught up with him. "I didn't know you would work at KFC." You started up a conversation. "I didn't plan too but I guess to make some small cash on my own before taking over my father's business." Diluc replied. You nodded your head. You both walked in silence. "How's school for you?" Diluc ask. Diluc was also one of your seniors alongside Lisa, Jean and Kaeya. "It's fine, not the best and not the worst. Although it is leaning to worst." You said. Diluc just looked at you and nodded his head. "If you ever need help then just call me." You nodded your head and thanked him.

You both were about to reach the train station when Diluc got a call. He told you that it was from his father. "He wants me to come over his office for a bit." Diluc informed you. You nodded and decided to take the train back home alone but before you could, your hand got pulled by another. "And who said your going back alone?" Diluc stated. You just looked at him confused. Did he want you to follow him? "I said I'll walk you home. I don't want you to walk alone." Diluc continued noticing your confusion. You had a crush on Diluc ever since you met him from Kaeya. Of course Kaeya can't understand why. You didn't expect the two to be brothers but you then understood that they were adopted brothers. You were to shy to admit what you feel about Diluc to others so you kept it to yourself. On the other hand, Diluc too have a crush on you too. He however overthink that you liked Kaeya so he didn't try to confess to you.

Once you both arrived at Diluc's father's office, Diluc guided you inside and held the door for you to enter first. You thanked him and walked in. It was really cooling in the office lobby. "Welcome young Master Diluc." The lady at the reception welcomed him. Diluc nodded his head and took your hand gently and guided you towards the elevators. Diluc pressed the button at one of the highest floor in the elevator. Once the elevator arrived at that floor, you both walked out and Diluc guided you towards his father's office. "Over here." Diluc called to you noticing how you were walking some where else. You quickly caught up to him and followed him like a baby duckling following its mother. Diluc arrived at the door and knocked on it. A voice could be heard from the other side telling us to go in.

"Diluc, there you are. Ah who is this?" A man that said. Diluc looks exactly like that man so you presumed he is Diluc's father. "This is my junior in school. Her/His name is (Y/N)." Diluc introduced you to his father. "I see, so this is the (Y/N) that you always talked about." Diluc's father continued. Diluc just choked at his father's comment and you are just standing there confused. "I'm Crepus. Diluc's father. It's a pleasure to meet you (Y/N)." Crepus stated. "Diluc must have offered to walk you home. I apologize to have disturb it. It won't occupy Diluc for very long so I hope if it's okay for you to wait for a bit." Crepus continued. You nodded your head. You decided to sit down at the couch that was in the room. You were so comfortable that you didn't realize that you were slowly dozing off.

"Diluc. I think (Y/N) must have fallen asleep." Crepus said and pointed towards you. Diluc turned his head to you and walked over to you to give you his jacket. Crepus stated from his desk smiling. His son is really lucky to find someone like you. After some time, you were shaken awake. You slowly opened your eyes and notice Diluc was the one that was shaking you. "We can go now." Diluc said. You just nodded your head sleepily. You rubbed your eyes trying to get used to the light. "Let me drive you there, (Y/N)." Crepus offered. You were about to reply but Diluc replied to his father instead. "Its alright father. I should have walked her home before coming here instead." Diluc replied to his father dragging you out the door. The last thing you heard from Crepus was to be careful on our way home.

You both entered the elevator heading back down to the lobby. "I'm sorry about my father if he said anything wrong." Diluc apologized. You shook your head reassuring that nothing Crepus said was wrong. Diluc just turned his head away from you. You noticed a slight pink glowing on his cheeks. "Diluc?" You called his name. He snapped out of his daydreaming and turned to you. "Do you talk to me to your father a lot?" You ask. Diluc just scratched the back of his head and mumbled a yes. Who would have thought. You giggled at the man. He just looked at you with slight irritation but clearly he's not irritated. He loves hearing your giggles especially if he's the one making you giggled.

After leaving the office and taking the train back to your neighbourhood, you both arrived at your house. It was already night time by now. "Well, this is my home. Thank your for walking me home, Diluc." You said thanking him shyly. "It was the least I could do." Diluc replied. You felt bad that he had to walk back home at this hour. You knew he lived quite far from here. You then thought of an idea. You grabbed his hand and tried dragging him into your home. "(Y/N)? What are you doing?" Diluc ask confused. "I don't want you walking home at this hour since it's not safe. So your staying at my house overnight." You stated. Diluc couldn't fight back since you already dragged him to the front door and he didn't want to argue with you on him walking home. So he gave in and decided to stay over.

"Thank you."

"Hm? What for?"

"Thank you for being you. Someone that's always there to make me happy."

I couldn't think of much for this but I hope that you all enjoyed this uwu. Since my exams are finished I have time to continue writing now :D

Can yall give me some ideas for the Be my Valentine's series for the females. So far I only did Fischl, Beidou and Barbara while I got no idea what to do for the rest. If you could, can you give me an idea on what you want to see for any of the female characters. It will be very well appreciated :D
