Tilly got used to being a ghost quicker than she thought she would.

With the guidance of Nora and some of the others, she adjusted quickly and was able to make friends with the majority of the ghosts in the house.

Despite the others encouraging her to torment her mother and scare her out of the house, Tilly chose to ignore them and stayed in the basement where she smuggled out her records as well as a few other belongings out of her now empty room.

That was one of the first changes once Tilly 'passed away'.

Her mother decided that the "pain of seeing her daughter's things was too much to bear." So, Max reluctantly changed it into a storage room so they wouldn't have to grab things from the basement or garage.

As time went by, Max grew more suspicious about Tilly's death. He couldn't accept it. He never thought she would be the suicidal type, and it was hard for him to accept that his stepdaughter had taken her own life. Once Max voiced his opinion, on this to his wife, she would simply brush it off.

It truly hurt Tilly seeing how nonchalant her mom was about the whole deal.

She realized her mother was a selfish, evil woman, and she knew that one day, she would get what was coming for her.

And eventually, it did.

Max had grown tired of Suzie. After a year of marriage, He realized the selfish, manipulative ways of his wife, and wanted out.

He was offered a promotion in Delaware and immediately accepted it. Suzie was outraged at the idea of moving out of Los Angeles.

Max didn't care, he filed for a divorce and left her. Suzie was jobless and was in the middle of a bitter divorce, she was forced to move in with her sister in Washington state.

Once again, the house was left empty. Tilly was left with a feeling of sadness and relief at the two leaving.

She wished she could have said goodbye to Max, he was the only one who showed true kindness to her when she was alive, and she was sad to see him go, but she was happy he left her mom.

Tilly was relieved to see her mom lose everything, it seemed like fate was on her side and gave her what she deserved.

Once the house was deserted, there was a sense of peace, up until the twins were murdered and everything went back to crazy when the Langdon's moved in.

Tilly could sense a dark aura from the family, and she couldn't have been more right. Constance was a cruel, bitter mother and Tilly saw much of her own mother in the woman. Her husband was a downright pervert, and she hated watching him stare down and constantly grope the maid.

She loved Moira and tried to clean up discreetly to help her around the house, it's not like she had anything else to do.

She found immense joy once she saw the small little boy named Tate and the sweet little girl Addie. Even though she didn't want to show herself to anyone, she couldn't help but play with the kids and take special care of them, especially because their mother was off doing who knows what with who knows who.

Tate and Addie came to think of Tilly as their big sister. She was the one they came to with problems or accomplishing something. She was there while their mother wasn't. She began to notice a sort of darkness coming from Tate as he grew, but she guessed it was just because he was a quiet and special kid.

In her eyes, Tate was a special kid and she loved them both.

Tilly loved it when Tate started high school. She was able to study with him and learn things she never got the chance to when she was still alive. She loved the modern music of the 90's. Her and Tate also came to love Nirvana and listened to it religiously.

It wasn't ABBA, but it would do.

The day of the shooting, she noticed Tate seemed to be in a strange mood. He barely spoke to her that morning and seemed monotone. She knew that the house had a bad habit of tilting men and causing them to do bad things, but she never guessed it would cause Tate to massacre the school and die in the same room she also met death.

When Tate died, she was secretly relieved to have him in the home with her but was sad knowing that he wouldn't be able to live his life, just like her.

They grew closer, as a brother sister bond, and Addie would occasionally sneak in and hang out with the two.

Time passed and Tilly began to distance herself from Tate, especially after the incident with the newest couple in the home, where she watched him brutally kill Chad and Patrick.

She noticed a very dark aura coming from him more consistently, and it scared her.

So as hard as it was, she stopped appearing to Tate. He noticed what was going on and the loneliness and sadness set in, and he would cry constantly.

At times, he could feel Tilly nearby and would cry and beg for her to talk to him, but all he would receive was the feeling of someone brushing his shaggy hair out of his face and the faint feeling of a kiss being placed on his forehead. Even if she was scared of him, she still cared.
