It's only been two weeks and Kate's already sunk her teeth into Peter. She's gone full-on flirt mode with him but like the dumb love interest he is, he's oblivious to it. It's starting to get on my nerves. But I can't tell Kate I like him because I already told her to go for him. When I get home from school I get a text from Marshall.

WHAT!?!?!? KATE'S HAVING A PARTY AND DIDN'T INVITE ME!?!?!? HER BESTIE!?!? I can't believe it

WHAT!?!?!? KATE'S HAVING A PARTY AND DIDN'T INVITE ME!?!?!? HER BESTIE!?!? I can't believe it. Is she mad at me or something, what is she trying to get at? Whatever now I'll just go to spite her. Kate might be my "best friend" but I honestly get along better with Marshall and James. Marshall is actually funny and James is quiet which makes him easy to talk to. But Kate's only personality trait is liking boys, like that's actually all she talks about. And I like to talk about boys too, but not every waking minute.

I put on a cute little black dress and do my hair, making sure to diffuse my curls so I'm not walking around with dripping wet hair. I need to make sure that I look better than her if I'm going to confront her I thought. I put on some makeup and head out the door.

I pull my black Mazda into Kate's neighborhood and indeed she is having a party. There were so many cars I could barely find a place to park. As I was walking to her front door I start to think Wait, what if Peter's here? she probably invited him And of course I immediately panic and rethink my entire life No no, I look good. I need to go. Plus..it'll be.....fun.
