you continued to sleep in kaoru's bed as she left the room to head to the kitchen.
she didn't know what to think. she hadn't heard katsuki's side of the story and why would she even take sides between her brother and her best friend.
as if it were destiny, katsuki came through the door.
he took his shoes off at the front door. "i'm back."
he wasn't expecting anyone to answer him so it was a surprise when kaoru walked up to him. "welcome home."
katsuki gives her a small smile, and pats the top of her head. "thanks."
"hey, katsuki?"
he hums.
"where'd you go?"
katsuki walks over to the kitchen nonchalant. "dropped somebody off."
kaoru follows him. "who?"
